Heaven opens as the righteous rider, followed by heavenly armies, comes to judge the nations and establish his sovereign rule.

Escritura

And I saw the heaven opened; and behold, a white horse, and he that sat thereon called Faithful and True; and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.
And his eyes are a flame of fire, and upon his head are many diadems; and he hath a name written which no one knoweth but he himself.
  3. 13.Estaba vestido de una ropa teñida en sangre; y su nombre es: EL VERBO DE DIOS.And he is arrayed in a garment sprinkled with blood: and his name is called The Word of God.
And the armies which are in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and pure.
And out of his mouth proceedeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness of the wrath of God, the Almighty.
And he hath on his garment and on his thigh a name written, KINGS OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.

Qué significa este pasaje

John sees heaven opened and a rider on a white horse, named Faithful and True. His judging and warfare are explicitly characterized by righteousness, so the passage presents his action as faithful and true rather than arbitrary or deceptive.

The rider’s fiery eyes, many diadems, unknown name, blood-sprinkled garment, and title The Word of God surround him with holiness, authority, mystery, and judgment. The unnamed name emphasizes that some aspects of his identity remain beyond ordinary knowledge, while the written name identifies his supreme title.

The heavenly armies follow him on white horses, wearing fine linen that is white and pure. A sharp sword proceeds from his mouth to strike the nations, and he rules them with a rod of iron while treading the winepress of the wrath of God, the Almighty. The name written on his garment and thigh declares him KINGS OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.

Contexto

Revelation 19 begins with praise to God for salvation, glory, power, and righteous judgments. The marriage of the Lamb has come, the bride has made herself ready in fine linen, and those invited to the marriage supper are called blessed.

Immediately before this passage, the speaker is told not to worship the revealing servant but to worship God, because the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy. After the rider appears, an angel calls the birds to the great supper of God, and the beast, the kings of the earth, and their armies gather to make war against the rider and his army.
