9. 9.他派遣他，并与他一起派出了不虔诚的亚尔基摩，任命他为大祭司，并命令他向以色列的儿女们报仇。And he sent him, and with him the ungodly Al′cimus, whom he made high priest; and he commanded him to take vengeance on the sons of Israel.💡

25. 25.当亚力山大见犹大和跟随他的人势力强盛，知道自己无法与他们对抗，就回到王面前，对他们作了恶意的控告。When Al′cimus saw that Judas and those with him had grown strong, and realized that he could not withstand them, he returned to the king and brought wicked charges against them.💡
26. 26.尼加诺在犹大 王便派尼加诺，是他尊贵的王子之一，尼加诺憎恨并厌恶以色列人，王吩咐他去毁灭这民。Nicanor in Judea Then the king sent Nica′nor, one of his honored princes, who hated and detested Israel, and he commanded him to destroy the people.💡
27. 27.尼加诺尔带着大量军队来到耶路撒冷，并以欺骗的手段送给犹大和他的兄弟们这充满和平口吻的信息，So Nica′nor came to Jerusalem with a large force, and treacherously sent to Judas and his brothers this peaceable message,💡
28. 28.“愿我与你之间没有争斗，我只带几个人来，平平安安地与你面对面相见。”“Let there be no fighting between me and you; I shall come with a few men to see you face to face in peace.”💡
29. 29.于是他来到犹大那里，他们和平地互相问候。但是敌人已经准备好抓住犹大。So he came to Judas, and they greeted one another peaceably. But the enemy were ready to seize Judas.💡
30. 30.犹大得知尼卡诺来是怀着叛逆的意图，他害怕他，不再与他相见。It became known to Judas that Nica′nor had come to him with treacherous intent, and he was afraid of him and would not meet him again.💡
31. 31.当尼卡诺尔得知他的计划已经被揭露后，他便出发去在卡法萨拉玛附近与犹大交战。When Nica′nor learned that his plan had been disclosed, he went out to meet Judas in battle near Capharsal′ama.💡
32. 32.尼卡诺的军队中约有五百人倒下，其余的人逃进了大卫城。About five hundred men of the army of Nica′nor fell, and the rest fled into the city of David.💡

Some of the priests came out of the sanctuary, and some of the elders of the people, to greet him peaceably and to show him the burnt offering that was being offered for the king.💡
34. 34.但他却讥笑他们，侮辱他们，污蔑他们，并且狂妄自大地说，But he mocked them and derided them and defiled them and spoke arrogantly,💡
35. 35.他在愤怒中发誓说：“如果这次犹大和他的军队不交在我的手中，那么我一旦安全返回，就会把这座殿烧掉。”于是，他怒气冲冲地出去。and in anger he swore this oath, “Unless Judas and his army are delivered into my hands this time, then if I return safely I will burn up this house.” And he went out in great anger.💡
36. 36.然后祭司们进去站在祭坛和圣殿前，他们哭泣着说，Then the priests went in and stood before the altar and the temple, and they wept and said,💡
37. 37.你选择了这家，称为你的名，也为你的子民作祷告和恳求的殿。“Thou didst choose this house to be called by thy name, and to be for thy people a house of prayer and supplication.💡
38. 38.向这人和他的军队报仇，愿他们倒在刀下；记住他们的亵渎，愿他们不再存活。Take vengeance on this man and on his army, and let them fall by the sword; remember their blasphemies, and let them live no longer.”💡
39. 39.尼加诺的死尼加诺从耶路撒冷出发，在伯霍伦安营，叙利亚军队也加入了他。The Death of Nicanor Now Nica′nor went out from Jerusalem and encamped in Beth-hor′on, and the Syrian army joined him.💡
40. 40.犹大率领三千人在亚大萨安营。然后犹大祷告说，And Judas encamped in Ad′asa with three thousand men. Then Judas prayed and said,💡
41. 41.当王的使者说出亵渎的话时，你的天使出发，击杀了亚述军中的一百八十五千人。“When the messengers from the king spoke blasphemy, thy angel went forth and struck down one hundred and eighty-five thousand of the Assyrians.💡
42. 42.求你今天在我们面前击败这支军队，叫剩下的人知道尼甲诺是怎样恶意地说话攻击你的圣所，愿你按着他的邪恶惩罚他。So also crush this army before us today; let the rest learn that Nica′nor has spoken wickedly against thy sanctuary, and judge him according to this wickedness.”💡
43. 43.于是两军在亚达月十三日相遇交战，尼加诺的军队被打败，他自己也是最先在战场上倒下的。So the armies met in battle on the thirteenth day of the month of Adar. The army of Nica′nor was crushed, and he himself was the first to fall in the battle.💡
44. 44.当他的军队看见尼卡挪已经倒下时，他们丢弃武器逃跑了。When his army saw that Nica′nor had fallen, they threw down their arms and fled.💡
45. 45.犹太人从亚大萨追赶他们，一直追到加沙，在他们追赶的过程中，吹响号角发出战斗的信号。The Jews pursued them a day’s journey, from Ad′asa as far as Gazar′a, and as they followed kept sounding the battle call on the trumpets.💡
46. 46.犹大周围所有村庄的男人都出来了，他们从侧面包围了敌人，并将他们赶回追击他们的人那里，以至于他们都倒在了刀下，没有一个幸存。And men came out of all the villages of Judea round about, and they out-flanked the enemy and drove them back to their pursuers, so that they all fell by the sword; not even one of them was left.💡

48. 48.百姓极其欢喜，当天就成了一个大欢乐的日子。The people rejoiced greatly and celebrated that day as a day of great gladness.💡
49. 49.他们规定每年亚达月十三日要庆祝这一天。And they decreed that this day should be celebrated each year on the thirteenth day of Adar.💡
50. 50.于是犹大地得以暂时安宁。So the land of Judah had rest for a few days.💡
