1. 1.以色列人出埃及地以后，满了三个月的那一天，就来到西奈的旷野。On the third new moon after the Israelites had gone forth from the land of Egypt, on that very day, they entered the wilderness of Sinai. 💡
2. 2.他们从利非订起行，来到西奈的旷野，就在那里，在山前安营。Having journeyed from Rephidim, they entered the wilderness of Sinai and encamped in the wilderness. Israel encamped there in front of the mountain, 💡
3. 3.摩西上到神那里。耶和华从山上呼唤他，说：“你要这样对雅各家说，告诉以色列人：and Moses went up to God. The ETERNAL called to him from the mountain, saying, “Thus shall you say to the house of Jacob and declare to the children of Israel:💡
4. 4.你们已经看见我向埃及人所行的事，我怎样如鹰将你们背在翅膀上，带来归我。‘You have seen what I did to the Egyptians, how I bore you on eagles’ wings and brought you to Me. 💡
5. 5.如今你们若听从我的话，遵守我的约，就要在万民中作我的珍宝，因为全地都是我的，Now then, if you will obey Me faithfully and keep My covenant, you shall be My treasured possession among all the peoples. Indeed, all the earth is Mine, 💡
6. 6.但你们要在我面前作祭司的国度，作圣洁的国民。这些话你要告诉以色列众子。but you shall be to Me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation.’ These are the words that you shall speak to the children of Israel.”💡
7. 7.摩西来到，招聚百姓中的长老，将耶和华吩咐他的一切话摆在他们面前。Moses came and summoned the elders of the people and put before them all that GOD had commanded him.💡
8. 8.百姓都一同回答说："凡耶和华所说的，我们都要遵行。"摩西就将百姓的话回复耶和华。All the people answered as one, saying, “All that GOD has spoken we will do!” And Moses brought back the people’s words to GOD.💡
9. 9.神对摩西说：“我要在密云中降临到你那里，使百姓听见我与你说话的声音，就永远信靠你。”于是摩西将百姓的话回复给神。And GOD said to Moses, “I will come to you in a thick cloud, in order that the people may hear when I speak with you and so trust you ever after.” Then Moses reported the people’s words to GOD,💡
10. 10.神对摩西说：“你到百姓那里去，警告他们今天明天要保持圣洁，让他们洗净衣服。”and GOD said to Moses, “Go to the people and warn them to stay pure today and tomorrow. Let them wash their clothes.💡
11. 11.叫他们在第三天预备好了，因为到了第三天，耶和华要在众百姓眼前降临在西乃山上。Let them be ready for the third day; for on the third day GOD will come down, in the sight of all the people, on Mount Sinai.💡
12. 12.你要在四围给百姓划定界限，警告他们说：‘当谨慎，不可上山，也不可摸山的边界；凡摸这山的，必被治死。’You shall set bounds for the people round about, saying, ‘Beware of going up the mountain or touching the border of it. Whoever touches the mountain shall be put to death 💡
13. 13.不可触摸，无论是人是牲畜，都要用石头打死或用箭射透，违者必死。羊角号吹出长音的时候，他们才可以上山。without being touched—by being either stoned or shot; animal or person, a trespasser shall not live.’ When the ram’s horn sounds a long blast, they may go up on the mountain.”💡
14. 14.摩西从山上下来到百姓那里，警告百姓要保持洁净，百姓就洗了衣服。Moses came down from the mountain to the people and warned the people to stay pure, and they washed their clothes. 💡
15. 15.他对那些人说：“第三天要准备好了，不可亲近女人。”And he said to the men, “Be ready for the third day: do not go near a woman.”💡
16. 16.到第三日早晨的时候，山上有雷轰、闪电和密云，并有号角声大大地响起，营中所有的百姓都发颤。On the third day, as morning dawned, there was thunder, and lightning, and a dense cloud upon the mountain, and a very loud blast of the horn; and all the people who were in the camp trembled. 💡
17. 17.摩西领百姓出营迎接神，他们都站在山脚下。Moses led the people out of the camp toward God, and they took their places at the foot of the mountain.💡
18. 18.西奈山全然冒烟，因为神在火中降临到山上，烟气上腾如烧窑的烟气，整座山猛烈地震动。Now Mount Sinai was all in smoke, for GOD had come down upon it in fire; the smoke rose like the smoke of a kiln, and the whole mountain trembled violently.💡
19. 19.号角声越来越响。摩西说话的时候，神以雷声回答他。The blare of the horn grew louder and louder. As Moses spoke, God answered him in thunder. 💡
20. 20.神降临在西奈山的山顶上，神呼唤摩西上到山顶，摩西就上去了。GOD came down upon Mount Sinai, on the top of the mountain, and GOD called Moses to the top of the mountain and Moses went up.💡
21. 21.神对摩西说：“你下去警告百姓，不可闯过来到神面前观看，恐怕他们中间有许多人死亡。”GOD said to Moses, “Go down, warn the people not to break through to GOD to gaze, lest many of them perish.💡
22. 22.那些亲近神的祭司们也必须保持纯洁，免得神向他们发怒攻击。The priests also, who come near GOD, must stay pure, lest GOD break out against them.”💡
23. 23.但摩西对神说，百姓不能上西奈山，因为你曾警戒我们说，要给山定界限，把山分别为圣。But Moses said to GOD, “The people cannot come up to Mount Sinai, for You warned us saying, ‘Set bounds about the mountain and sanctify it.’”💡
24. 24.神对他说："你下去，和亚伦一起上来。只是祭司和百姓不可闯过来朝见我，免得我忽然击杀他们。"So GOD said to him, “Go down, and come back together with Aaron; but let not the priests or the people break through to come up to GOD—who would break out against them.”💡
25. 25.摩西下到百姓那里，对他们说话。And Moses went down to the people and spoke to them.💡
