2.我永恒主是你的神，曾将你从埃及地，就是为奴之家，领出来。I the ETERNAL am your God who brought you out of the land of Egypt, the house of bondage:
3.除了我以外，你不可有别的神。You shall have no other gods besides Me.
4.不可为自己雕刻偶像，也不可作什么形象，仿佛上天、下地和地底下、水中的百物。You shall not make for yourself a sculptured image, or any likeness of what is in the heavens above, or on the earth below, or in the waters under the earth.
5.不可跪拜那些偶像，也不可事奉它们，因为我永恒主你的神是忌邪的神，必追讨恨恶我之人的罪，从父及子，直到三四代。You shall not bow down to them or serve them. For I the ETERNAL your God am an impassioned God, visiting the guilt of the parents upon the children, upon the third and upon the fourth generations of those who reject Me,
6.但向我守诫命、守我诫命、爱我的千代人施慈爱but showing kindness to the thousandth generation of those who love Me and keep My commandments.
7.不可妄称耶和华你神的名，因为妄称耶和华名的，耶和华必不以他为无罪。You shall not swear falsely by the name of the ETERNAL your God; for GOD will not clear one who swears falsely by that name.
8.当记念安息日，守为圣日。Remember the sabbath day and keep it holy.
9.六日要劳碌做你一切的工，Six days you shall labor and do all your work,
10.但第七日是永恒主你神的安息日：你们不可做任何工—你、你的儿子或女儿、你的男仆或女仆、你的牲畜、或是在你境内居住的寄居者。but the seventh day is a sabbath of the ETERNAL your God: you shall not do any work—you, your son or daughter, your male or female slave, or your cattle, or the stranger who is within your settlements.
11.因为六日之内，神造了天、地、海和其中所有的万物，第七日便休息了；所以神赐福给安息日，定为圣日。For in six days GOD made heaven and earth and sea—and all that is in them—and then rested on the seventh day; therefore GOD blessed the sabbath day and hallowed it.
12.当孝敬你的父亲和你的母亲，使你在永恒的神所赐给你的地上长久居住。Honor your father and your mother, that you may long endure on the land that your ETERNAL God is assigning to you.
13.不可杀人。不可奸淫。不可偷盗。不可作假见证陷害人。You shall not murder.You shall not commit adultery.You shall not steal.You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.
14.不可贪恋邻人的房屋；不可贪恋邻人的妻子、仆婢、牛驴，以及邻人的一切财物。You shall not covet your neighbor’s house: you shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, or male or female slave, or ox or donkey, or anything that is your neighbor’s.
15.众百姓看见雷轰、闪电、角声、山上冒烟，就都战兢，远远地站着。All the people witnessed the thunder and lightning, the blare of the horn and the mountain smoking; and when the people saw it, they fell back and stood at a distance.
16.你对我们说吧，我们必听从；不要神对我们说话，恐怕我们死亡。“You speak to us,” they said to Moses, “and we will obey; but let not God speak to us, lest we die.”
17.摩西对百姓说："不要害怕，因为神降临是要试验你们，使你们在他面前常常存着敬畏的心，不至于犯罪。"Moses answered the people, “Be not afraid; for God has come only in order to test you, and in order that the fear of God may be ever with you, so that you do not go astray.”
18.于是百姓远远地站着，摩西却挨近那厚云，就是神所在的地方。So the people remained at a distance, while Moses approached the thick cloud where God was.
19.上帝对摩西说：你要这样告诉以色列人：你们自己都看见了我从天上与你们说话。
GOD
said to Moses:Thus shall you say to the Israelites: You yourselves saw that I spoke to you from the very heavens:
20.所以你们不可为自己制造银的神像，也不可为自己制造金的神像与我并列。With Me, therefore, you shall not make any gods of silver, nor shall you make for yourselves any gods of gold.
21.你要为我筑一座土坛，在上面献你的燔祭和平安祭，就是你的羊和牛；在我使人记念我名的每一处地方，我必降临到你那里，赐福与你。Make for Me an altar of earth and sacrifice on it your burnt offerings and your sacrifices of well-being, uncertain. your sheep and your oxen; in every place where I cause My name to be mentioned I will come to you and bless you.
22.你若为我筑一座石坛，不可用凿成的石头，因你在石头上动了刀斧，就玷污了坛。And if you make for Me an altar of stones, do not build it of hewn stones; for by wielding your tool upon them you have profaned them.
23.不可登着台阶上我的祭坛，恐怕你在上面露出下体。Do not ascend My altar by steps, that your nakedness may not be exposed upon it.
