1.于是 神对我说：“像前两块一样，凿出两块石板，上山到我这里，另外做一个木箱。Thereupon GOD said to me, “Carve out two tablets of stone like the first, and come up to Me on the mountain; and make an ark of wood.
2.我要将曾在你打碎的第一块石板上的诫命写在这些石板上，你要将它们放在约柜里。I will inscribe on the tablets the commandments that were on the first tablets that you smashed, and you shall deposit them in the ark.”
3.我用荆树木做了一个柜，凿出两块石板，和上次一样。我把两块石板拿在手里，上山去了。I made an ark of acacia wood and carved out two tablets of stone like the first; I took the two tablets with me and went up the mountain.
4.在这些石板上写着与第一块石板相同的文字，即上帝在山上用火向你们讲的十诫，当时是聚会的日子，上帝把它们交给我。After inscribing on the tablets the same text as on the first—the Ten Commandments that GOD addressed to you on the mountain out of the fire on the day of the Assembly—GOD gave them to me.
5.然后我离开，下了山，把我所刻的石板放在了我所造的约柜里，直到他们至今还在那里，就像上帝所吩咐我的一样。Then I left and went down from the mountain, and I deposited the tablets in the ark that I had made, where they still are, as GOD had commanded me.
6.以色列人从贝罗特便雅干出发，往摩西拉去。亚伦死在那里，就葬在那里，他的儿子以利亚撒接续他作祭司。From Beeroth-bene-jaakan the Israelites marched to Moserah. Aaron died there and was buried there; and his son Eleazar became priest in his stead.
7.他们从那里出发，前往户德哥得，从户德哥得出发，前往约他巴，那是一个泉水众多的地区。From there they marched to Gudgod, and from Gudgod to Jotbath, a region of running brooks.
8.当时，神分别利未支派来抬神的约柜，在神面前侍立，并凭神的名义给人祝福，直到今日仍是如此。At that time GOD set apart the tribe of Levi to carry the Ark of GOD’s Covenant, to stand in attendance upon GOD, and to bless in God’s name, as is still the case.
9.这是为什么利未支派在其亲族中没有得着产业，耶和华是他们的产业，正如永在的神你们的神所说关于他们的。That is why Levi has received no hereditary portion along with its kindred: GOD is its portion, as the ETERNAL your God spoke concerning it.
10.我曾在山上停留，像我第一次一样，四十天四十夜，神又一次垂听我：神同意不毁灭你们。I had stayed on the mountain, as I did the first time, forty days and forty nights; and GOD heeded me once again: GOD agreed not to destroy you.
11.上帝对我说，起来，在人民前面引路，让他们进去占领我起誓要给他们祖先的土地。And GOD said to me, “Up, resume the march at the head of the people, that they may go in and possess the land that I swore to their fathers to give them.”
12.现在， 以色列啊，你的神永恒主向你要求什么呢，只要求你敬畏永恒主你的神，遵行永恒主你的神的道，爱永恒主你的神，并且用你全部的心和灵魂侍奉永恒主你的神And now, O Israel, what does the ETERNAL your God demand of you? Only this: to revere the ETERNAL your God, to walk only in divine paths, to love and to serve the ETERNAL your God with all your heart and soul,
13.遵守上帝的诫命和律法，就是我今日所吩咐你的，为要使你得益处。keeping GOD’s commandments and laws, which I enjoin upon you today, for your good.
14.马尔克，天到极处属于你神永恒主，地和地上所有的都属于他Mark, the heavens to their uttermost reaches belong to the ETERNAL your God, the earth and all that is on it!
15.然而，正是由于上帝爱他们的祖先，上帝被吸引到他们那里，因此你们作为他们的后代，从所有人民中被选中——就像现在的情况一样。Yet it was to your ancestors that GOD was drawn out of love for them, so that you, their lineal descendants, were chosen from among all peoples—as is now the case.
16.所以，你们要剪除自己心中的愚昧，不要再使颈项变得硬梆。Cut away, therefore, the thickening about your hearts and stiffen your necks no more.
17.因为你们的上帝是至高的神，是万神之神，是至上的主，是万主之主，是伟大的、有力的、可畏的神，祂不偏袒人，也不受贿赂，For the ETERNAL your God is God supreme and Sovereign supreme, the great, the mighty, and the awesome God, who shows no favor and takes no bribe,
18.却为孤儿和寡妇辩护，与外人交好，给他们衣食。—but upholds the cause of the fatherless and the widow, and befriends the stranger, providing food and clothing.—
19.你们也要对寄居的外人表示友善，因为你们曾在埃及地作过寄居的外人。You too must befriend the stranger, for you were strangers in the land of Egypt.
20.你要敬畏你所侍奉的上帝，你要亲近他，你要奉他的名起誓。You must revere the ETERNAL your God—whom you shall worship, to whom you shall hold fast, and by whose name you shall swear.
21.永恒的主是你的荣耀和你的神，他为你行了你亲眼所见的那些大而可畏的作为。[The ETERNAL] is your glory and your God, who wrought for you those marvelous, awesome deeds that you saw with your own eyes.
22.你们的祖先只有七十个人下到埃及，现在永恒的神使你们的后代像天上的星星一样众多。Your ancestors went down to Egypt seventy persons; and now the ETERNAL your God has made you as numerous as the stars of heaven.
