1. 1.摩西就照着上帝所吩咐他的话，对以色列人说。Be careful to observe only that which I enjoin upon you: neither add to it nor take away from it.💡
2. 2.你们中间若出现先知或是有占卜之人的话，他给你们显出神迹或是奇事，If there appears among you a prophet or a dream-diviner, who gives you a sign or a portent, 💡
3. 3.说“让我们去跟随和敬拜别的神”——你们没有认识的——即使所说的神迹或预兆应验了，saying, “Let us follow and worship another god”—whom you have not experienced—even if the sign or portent named to you comes true,💡
4. 4.不要听从那先知或那占梦的人的话，因为你們的上帝耶和華正在試驗你們，看你們是否盡心盡魂愛耶和華你們的上帝。do not heed the words of that prophet or that dream-diviner. For the ETERNAL your God is testing you to see whether you really love the ETERNAL your God with all your heart and soul.💡
5. 5.你们的上帝是永恒的神，是你们所要跟随的，是你们所要敬畏的，是你们所要遵守诫命的，是你们所要听从命令的，是你们所要敬拜的，也是你们所要紧紧抓住的。The ETERNAL your God is the One whom you should follow, whom you should revere, whose commandments you should observe, whose orders you should heed, whom you should worship, and to whom you should hold fast.💡
6. 6.至于那先知或占梦的人，他因为诱惑你违背耶和华你神，就是将你从埃及地领出、从为奴之家救赎你的神，所以他必被治死，因为他要使你偏离耶和华你神所吩咐你行的道。这样，你就可以将邪恶从你中间除掉。As for that prophet or dream-diviner, they shall be put to death for having urged disloyalty to the ETERNAL your God—who freed you from the land of Egypt and who redeemed you from the house of bondage—to make you stray from the path that the ETERNAL your God commanded you to follow. Thus you will sweep out evil from your midst.💡
7. 7.若是你兄弟，即你母亲所生的兄弟，或是你的儿子、你的女儿，或是你胸中的妻，或是你最亲密的朋友，秘密地引诱你说：“来吧，我们去侍奉别的神”，就是你和你的祖先所没有认识的神 ——If your brother, your own mother’s son, or your son or daughter, or the wife of your bosom, or your closest friend entices you in secret, saying, “Come let us worship other gods”—whom neither you nor your ancestors have experienced—💡
8. 8.从你们周围各国的神中，无论是近处的还是远处的，从地极到地极的任何地方：from among the gods of the peoples around you, either near to you or distant, anywhere from one end of the earth to the other: 💡
9. 9.不要同意他们的意见，也不要听从他们，不要对他们表示怜悯或同情，也不要为他们遮掩事实；do not assent or give heed to any of them. Show no pity or compassion, and do not cover up the matter; 💡
10. 10.但要夺去那人的生命，你要先下手，接着是众人的手。but take that person’s life. Let your hand be the first to put them to death, followed by the hand of the rest of the people. 💡
11. 11.用石头将他们打死，因为他们试图使你偏离你神永恒主，他是将你从埃及地、从奴隶之家领出来的。Stone them to death for having sought to make you stray from the ETERNAL your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.💡
12. 12.这样，以色列众人就都听见而惧怕，不再在你们中间行这样恶事。Thus all Israel will hear and be afraid, and such evil things will not be done again in your midst.💡
13. 13.当有人说，你的神耶和华所赐给你，使你居住的城中，If you hear it said, of one of the towns that the ETERNAL your God is giving you to dwell in,💡
14. 14.你们中间有些无赖引诱本城的居民去敬拜你们未曾认识的其他神，说“来吧，我们去敬拜其他神”——that some scoundrels from among you have gone and subverted the inhabitants of their town, saying, “Come let us worship other gods”—whom you have not experienced— 💡
15. 15.你们必须详细调查和询问并彻底审问，如果是真实的，事实已经确定——在你们中间发生了那可憎的事——you shall investigate and inquire and interrogate thoroughly. If it is true, the fact is established—that abhorrent thing was perpetrated in your midst— 💡
16. 16.用刀杀尽那城里的人，用刀杀尽它的牲畜。将那城和城中所有的东西都毁灭。put the inhabitants of that town to the sword and put its cattle to the sword. Doom it and all that is in it to destruction:💡
17. 17.将所有的战利品聚集在街市中，将城邑和所有的战利品全部用火焚烧，作为献给你们的上帝永恒主的全燔祭。城邑必永远成为荒墟，不再重建。gather all its spoil into the open square, and burn the town and all its spoil as a holocaust to the ETERNAL your God. And it shall remain an everlasting ruin, never to be rebuilt.💡
18. 18.凡被咒诅的物都不可粘在你手上，好叫耶和华的烈怒转离你，施恩于你，照他所起誓的话使你众多，就像他对你列祖所说的。Let nothing that has been doomed stick to your hand, in order that GOD may turn from a blazing anger and show you compassion, and in compassion increase you as promised on oath to your fathers—💡
19. 19.因为你们要听从你们的上帝永恒主，遵守我今日所吩咐你们的一切命令，在你们的上帝永恒主眼中行正直的事。for you will be heeding the ETERNAL your God, obeying all the commandments that I enjoin upon you this day, doing what is right in the sight of the ETERNAL your God.💡
