1. 1.现在，以色列啊，你要听从我所教训你遵守的律法和规条，好叫你可以存活，进入得着永在的神你列祖的神所赐给你的那地。And now, O Israel, give heed to the laws and rules that I am instructing you to observe, so that you may live to enter and occupy the land that the ETERNAL, the God of your fathers, is giving you.💡
2. 2.你不可将我所吩咐的命令加添或减少，你要遵守我所吩咐的永恒主你的神的诫命You shall not add anything to what I command you or take anything away from it, but keep the commandments of the ETERNAL your God that I enjoin upon you.💡
3. 3.你们亲眼看见了上帝在巴力毗珥事上所做的，永在的神你们的上帝从你们中间除灭了所有随从巴力毗珥的人；You saw with your own eyes what GOD did in the matter of Baal-peor, that the ETERNAL your God wiped out from among you every person who followed Baal-peor;💡
4. 4.你们却紧紧抓住你们的上帝永恒主，至今仍然都活着。while you, who held fast to the ETERNAL your God, are all alive today.💡
5. 5.看哪，我已将律法和规则传授给你们，就像永在的神，我的神所命令我的一样，这样你们就可以在你们即将进入并要占领的土地上遵守。See, I have imparted to you laws and rules, as the ETERNAL my God has commanded me, for you to abide by in the land that you are about to enter and occupy.💡
6. 6.你们要忠诚地遵守这些律法，因为这样做就证明你们在其他民族眼中是有智慧和有见识的。他们一听说所有这些律法，就会说：“这确实是伟大的民族，是有智慧和有见识的人。”Observe them faithfully, for that will be proof of your wisdom and discernment to other peoples, who on hearing of all these laws will say, “Surely, that great nation is a wise and discerning people.” 💡

8. 8.或是哪个大国有像我今天所陈明在你们面前的这全部法令一样完美的律法和规条呢！Or what great nation has laws and rules as perfect as all this Teaching that I set before you this day?💡
9. 9.但要极其谨慎，时时警惕自己，免得你们亲眼所见的事从你们眼前渐渐消失，你们一生一世都不忘记。并要将这些事传给你们的子孙和子孙的子孙：But take utmost care and watch yourselves scrupulously, so that you do not forget the things that you saw with your own eyes and so that they do not fade from your mind as long as you live. And make them known to your children and to your children’s children: 💡
10. 10.你站在你神永恒主面前在何烈山的那一天，永恒主对我说，“召集百姓到我面前，我要使他们听我的话，好使他们在世上永远敬畏我，又要教训他们的子孙。The day you stood before the ETERNAL your God at Horeb, when GOD said to me, “Gather the people to Me that I may let them hear My words, in order that they may learn to revere Me as long as they live on earth, and may so teach their children.”💡
11. 11.你们走近，站在山下，山上火焰直冒到天空，黑云密布。You came forward and stood at the foot of the mountain. The mountain was ablaze with flames to the very skies, dark with densest clouds. 💡
12. 12.上帝从火中对你说话，你听见了话语的声音，却没有看见形象，只有声音。GOD spoke to you out of the fire; you heard the sound of words but perceived no shape—nothing but a voice.💡
13. 13.你们所受的约，即十诫，是宣示给你们的，[上帝]又将这些诫命写在两块石板上。The covenant that you were commanded to observe, the Ten Commandments, was declared to you; and [God] inscribed them on two tablets of stone. 💡
14. 14.与此同时，上帝吩咐我将律法和规则传授给你们，使你们在即将要进入和居住的土地上遵守。At the same time GOD commanded me to impart to you laws and rules for you to observe in the land that you are about to cross into and occupy.💡
15. 15.为了你们自己，所以要非常小心——因为你们在何烈山见不到上帝形象的时候，他从火中对你们说话——For your own sake, therefore, be most careful—since you saw no shape when GOD spoke to you at Horeb out of the fire—💡
16. 16.不做恶事，也不可为自己制造雕刻的偶像，不论是人的形象或女人的形象，即男女的形象not to act wickedly and make for yourselves a sculptured image in any likeness whatever: the form of a man or a woman,💡

These the ETERNAL your God allotted to other peoples everywhere under heaven—💡
20. 20.你们曾被领出、带出埃及，那铁炉，成为上帝的子民，正如现在的光景。whereas you were taken and brought out of Egypt, that iron blast furnace, to be GOD’s very own people, as is now the case.💡
21. 21.现在，上帝为你们的缘故对我发怒，起誓说我不得过约旦河，进入永生神你们的神所赐给你们为业的美地。Now GOD was angry with me on your account and swore that I should not cross the Jordan and enter the good land that the ETERNAL your God is assigning you as a heritage.💡
22. 22.因为我必死在这地，我必不得过约旦河，你们却要过去得那美地为业。For I must die in this land; I shall not cross the Jordan. But you will cross and take possession of that good land.💡
23. 23.你们要谨慎，不可忘记耶和华你们的神与你们立的约，也不可为自己制造雕刻的偶像，与耶和华你们的神所吩咐你们的相似。Take care, then, not to forget the covenant that the ETERNAL your God concluded with you, and not to make for yourselves a sculptured image in any likeness, against which the ETERNAL your God has enjoined you.💡
24. 24.因为你永在的神是烈火，是一位热爱的神。For the ETERNAL your God is a consuming fire, an impassioned God.💡
25. 25.当你们生了儿子、孙子，并且在那地长久居住的时候，若行恶事，为自己制造雕刻的偶像，引起你们的神永恒主的愤怒和不满，When you have begotten children and children’s children and are long established in the land, should you act wickedly and make for yourselves a sculptured image in any likeness, causing the ETERNAL your God displeasure and vexation,💡
26. 26.我今日召天召地作证，警告你们，过了约旦河进入要承受为业的那地，你们必速速灭亡，在那里不能长久居住，必然被彻底剪除。I call heaven and earth this day to witness against you that you shall soon perish from the land that you are crossing the Jordan to possess; you shall not long endure in it, but shall be utterly wiped out. 💡
27. 27.上帝将把你们散布在各国中，只剩下极少数人在上帝要把你们驱逐到的各国中。GOD will scatter you among the peoples, and only a scant few of you shall be left among the nations to which GOD will drive you.💡
28. 28.在那里，你们将侍奉人手所造的木头和石头的神，它们不能看见、不能听见、不能吃、不能闻。There you will serve gods of wood and stone, made by human hands, that cannot see or hear or eat or smell.💡
29. 29.但如果你在那里寻找，你就会找到永在的神，只要你用尽全心全灵寻求他——But if you search there, you will find the ETERNAL your God, if only you seek with all your heart and soul—💡
30. 30.当这一切事临到你身上，你遭遇患难的时候，终久你要回转，听从耶和华你神的话。when you are in distress because all these things have befallen you and, in the end, return to and obey the ETERNAL your God.💡
31. 31.因为你永在的神是仁慈的神，他必不丢弃你，也不灭绝你。他与你祖宗所立的誓约必不忘记。For the ETERNAL your God is a compassionate God, who will not fail you nor let you perish. The covenant made on oath with your fathers will not be forgotten.💡
32. 32.你们只需问问以前的世代，就是在上帝创造人以来，从天这边到天那边，曾有像这样的大事发生过，或者有人听说过像这样的事吗？You have but to inquire about bygone ages that came before you, ever since God created humankind on earth, from one end of heaven to the other: has anything as grand as this ever happened, or has its like ever been known? 💡
33. 33.有哪个民族听见过神从火中说话的声音，却还能存活，如同你们听见的呢？Has any people heard the voice of a god speaking out of a fire, as you have, and survived? 💡
34. 34.难道有哪个神像永恒的神你们的神在埃及在你们眼前为你们所行的那样，凭着大能的作为、神迹、奇事、争战、有力的手和伸出来的膀臂，以及伟大的可畏之事，从别国中间取了一国来给自己吗？Or has any deity ventured to go and take one nation from the midst of another by prodigious acts, by signs and portents, by war, by a mighty hand and an outstretched arm and awesome power, as the ETERNAL your God did for you in Egypt before your very eyes?💡
35. 35.你们已经清楚地知道，独有永恒主是神，除他以外没有别神。It has been clearly demonstrated to you that the ETERNAL alone is God; there is none else.💡
36. 36.从天上可以听到天父的训诫之声，在地上可以看到大而神圣的火；而从那火中可以听到上帝的话语。From the heavens you could hear the divine voice to discipline you; on earth you could see the great divine fire; and from amidst that fire you heard God’s words.💡
37. 37.因为上帝爱你们的祖宗，就选召他们的后代——亲自用大能从埃及领导你们出来And out of love for your ancestors, [God] chose their heirs after them—directly leading you out of Egypt with great might,💡
38. 38.要从你的道路上驱逐比你强大和人口更多的国家，将你带到他们的土地上，并将其作为你的遗产赐给你，直到如今仍是这样。to drive from your path nations greater and more populous than you, to take you into their land and assign it to you as a heritage, as is still the case. 💡
39. 39.所以你们要认真记住，惟独永恒主是上面的天和下面的地的神，除他以外没有别的神。Know therefore this day and keep in mind that the ETERNAL alone is God in heaven above and on earth below; there is no other.💡
40. 40.遵守我今日所吩咐你的上帝的律法和诫命，好使你和你后代都得平安，并使你长久居住在永在的上帝所赐给你的土地上。Observe God’s laws and commandments, which I enjoin upon you this day, that it may go well with you and your children after you, and that you may long remain in the land that the ETERNAL your God is assigning to you for all time.💡
41. 41.摩西在约旦河东边指定了三座城Then Moses set aside three cities on the east side of the Jordan💡
