1. 1.你们今日所受的所有训诫，都要谨守遵行，使你们可以繁荣兴旺，占据上帝向你们的祖先所起誓应许的土地。You shall faithfully observe all the Instruction that I enjoin upon you today, that you may thrive and increase and be able to possess the land that GOD promised on oath to your fathers.💡
2. 2.记得永恒的神使你在荒野中行走的那长长的道路，过去的四十年，是要用困苦试验你，察看你心中的意念，是否遵守他的诫命。Remember the long way that the ETERNAL your God has made you travel in the wilderness these past forty years, in order to test you by hardships to learn what was in your hearts: whether you would keep the commandments or not.💡
3. 3.上帝使你们饥饿，然后用你们和你们祖先从未知道的吗哪养活你们，这是要教导你们，人不仅仅是靠食物生活，人还可以靠上帝所定的任何事物生活。[God] subjected you to the hardship of hunger and then gave you manna to eat, which neither you nor your ancestors had ever known, in order to teach you that a human being does not live on bread alone, but that one may live on anything that GOD decrees.💡
4. 4.你身上的衣服没有穿旧，你的脚也没有肿起来，这四十年了。The clothes upon you did not wear out, nor did your feet swell these forty years. 💡
5. 5.要记住，你的上帝永恒主对你管教，正如一个人管教他的儿子一样。Bear in mind that the ETERNAL your God disciplines you just as a man disciplines his son.💡
6. 6.所以你们要遵守你们的神永恒主的诫命，遵行神的道，敬畏他。Therefore keep the commandments of the ETERNAL your God: walk in God’s ways and show reverence.💡
7. 7.因为你永在的神将你带到一片美好的土地，那个土地上有河流、泉源和从平原和山丘中涌出的水泉；For the ETERNAL your God is bringing you into a good land, a land with streams and springs and fountains issuing from plain and hill;💡
8. 8.一地有小麦和大麦，葡萄、无花果和石榴，橄榄树和蜜；a land of wheat and barley, of vines, figs, and pomegranates, a land of olive trees and honey; 💡
9. 9.一个你可以尽情吃饭、毫无缺乏的地方；一个土地的磐石是铁、山丘可以开采铜的地方。a land where you may eat food without stint, where you will lack nothing; a land whose rocks are iron and from whose hills you can mine copper. 💡
10. 10.当你们吃饱喝足的时候，要感谢耶和华你们的神，因他将美好的地赐给了你们。When you have eaten your fill, give thanks to the ETERNAL your God for the good land given to you.💡
11. 11.要谨慎，免得你忘记耶和华你的神，不遵守我今日所吩咐你的命令、律例和典章。Take care lest you forget the ETERNAL your God and fail to keep the commandments, rules, and laws that I enjoin upon you today.💡
12. 12.当你们吃得饱足，建造了漂亮的房屋居住时，When you have eaten your fill, and have built fine houses to live in, 💡
13. 13.你的牛群羊群繁衍增多，你的银子金子增添，你所拥有的一切都繁荣兴旺，and your herds and flocks have multiplied, and your silver and gold have increased, and everything you own has prospered, 💡
14. 14.要谨慎，免得你们的心狂妄自大，忘记永在的神——他曾将你们从埃及地、从奴隶之家领出来；beware lest; moved down from v. 12 for clarity. your heart grow haughty and you forget the ETERNAL your God—who freed you from the land of Egypt, the house of bondage;💡
15. 15.领你经过那大而可畏的旷野，就是有烧着的蛇和蝎子的旷野，也有荒无水源之地的旷野，领你到那里，在坚硬的磐石上为你出水；who led you through the great and terrible wilderness with its seraph serpents and scorpions, a parched land with no water in it, who brought forth water for you from the flinty rock;💡
16. 16.在旷野里用吗哪养你，你的祖宗从未知道的，为了考验你，终久却成全你，who fed you in the wilderness with manna, which your ancestors had never known, in order to test you by hardships only to benefit you in the end— 💡
17. 17.你们心里说：“我的力量和我手的力量为我获取了这一切的财富。”and you say to yourselves, “My own power and the might of my own hand have won this wealth for me.” 💡
18. 18.要记得是永恒的神耶和华使你有能力获取财富，这是他向你祖先所立的誓约，如今仍然如此。Remember that it is the ETERNAL your God who gives you the power to get wealth, in fulfillment of the covenant made on oath with your fathers, as is still the case.💡
19. 19.如果你忘记了你神永恒主，去侍奉和敬拜别的神，我今日警告你，你必定会灭亡；If you do forget the ETERNAL your God and follow other gods to serve them or bow down to them, I warn you this day that you shall certainly perish;💡
20. 20.像上帝要在你面前灭绝的那些国家一样，你也必灭绝，因为你不听从你上帝永恒的言语。like the nations that GOD will cause to perish before you, so shall you perish—because you did not heed the ETERNAL your God.💡
