- 1.赞美神,他是良善的,他的慈爱永远长存!“Praise GOD, who is good—whose steadfast love is eternal!”
- 2.如此,愿神所救赎的人说,那些从患难中被拯救的,Thus let GOD’s redeemed say,those redeemed from adversity,
- 3.就是从各地招聚来的,从东从西,从北从海。who have been gathered in from the lands,from east and west,from the north and from the sea.
- 4.有些人在旷野、在荒凉之地迷失了方向,找不到可以居住的地方。Some lost their way in the wilderness,in the wasteland;they found no settled place.
- 5.饥饿干渴,他们的灵就软弱了。Hungry and thirsty,their spirit failed.
- 6.他们在患难中哀求神,就从困苦中得拯救。In their adversity they cried to GOD,and they were rescued from their troubles.
- 7.他们被指示一条直达安居之所的道路。They were shown a direct wayto reach a settled place.
- 8.愿他们称谢耶和华的慈爱,和他向世人所行的奇事——Let them give praise for GOD’s steadfast loveand wondrous deeds for humankind—
- 9.使干渴的得饱足,使饥饿的充满各样美善之物。for satisfying the thirsty,and filling the hungry with all good things.
- 10.有些人住在极深的黑暗中,被残酷的铁链捆绑,Some lived in deepest darkness,bound in cruel irons,
- 11.因为他们违背了 神的话语,藐视至高者的训诲。because they defied the word of God,spurned the counsel of the Most High.
- 12.他们的心因苦难而谦卑;他们跌倒,却无人帮助。Their hearts were humbled through suffering;they stumbled with no one to help.
- 13.他们在患难中向神哀求,便蒙拯救脱离祸患。In their adversity they cried to GOD,and were rescued from their troubles.
- 14.他们从极深的幽暗中被领出,他们的捆绑全然断裂。They were brought out of deepest darkness,their bonds broken asunder.
- 15.愿他们称谢耶和华的慈爱,和他向世人所行的奇事——Let them give praise for GOD’s steadfast loveand wondrous deeds for humankind—
- 16.粉碎铜门,砍断铁闩。shattering gates of bronze,breaking their iron bars.
- 17.愚人因自己的邪道和罪孽而受苦。There were fools who suffered for their sinful way,and for their iniquities.
- 18.他们厌恶各样食物,近乎死亡的门。All food was loathsome to them;they reached the gates of death.
- 19.他们在患难中呼求神,就从祸患中被拯救出来。In their adversity they cried to GOD and they were saved from their troubles.
- 20.他发出命令,医治了他们——拯救他们脱离深坑。[God] gave an order and healed them—delivering them from the pits.
- 21.愿他们称谢耶和华的慈爱,和他向世人所行的奇事——Let them give praise for GOD’s steadfast loveand wondrous deeds for humankind.
- 22.让他们献上感恩祭,以喜乐的歌声述说他的作为。Let them offer thanksgiving sacrifices,and tell those deeds in joyful song.
- 23.他们下到海中,坐船在大水上往来经商Others go down to the sea in ships,ply their trade in the mighty waters;
- 24.他们看见神的作为,和他在深处的奇事。they have seen GOD’s worksand such wonders in the deep.
- 25.神的言语兴起狂风,使波涛翻涌。God’s word raised a storm windthat made the waves surge.
- 26.升入天上,沉入深渊,在苦难中被吐出Mounting up to the heaven,plunging down to the depths,disgorging in their misery,
- 27.他们摇摇晃晃,踉跄不定,如同醉酒之人;他们的智慧全然无济于事。they reeled and staggered like a drunk,all their skill to no avail.
- 28.他们在患难中向神呼求,神就拯救他们脱离困苦。In their adversity they cried to GOD,and were saved from their troubles.
- 29.风暴化作低语,浪涛归于平静。The storm was reduced to a whisper;the waves were stilled.
- 30.他们因风平浪静而欢喜,遂抵达所愿的港口。They rejoiced when all was quiet,and were brought to the port they desired.
- 31.让他们因上帝的慈爱和他向世人所行的奇妙作为而赞美他。Let them give praise for GOD’s steadfast love,and wondrous deeds for humankind.
- 32.愿他们在民众的会中尊崇,在长老的集会中称扬。Let them exalt in the congregation of the people,acclaim in the assembly of the elders.
- 33.河流变为旷野,水泉变为干渴之地The rivers are turned into a wilderness,springs of water into thirsty land,
- 34.肥沃的土地变为盐碱之地,因为居住其中的百姓邪恶。fruitful land into a salt marsh,because of the wickedness of its inhabitants.
- 35.旷野变为水池,干地变为水泉。The wilderness is turned into pools,parched land into springs of water.
- 36.他使饥饿的人住在那里,使他们建造可居住的城邑。There the hungry are settled;they build a place to settle in.
- 37.他们耕种田地,栽种葡萄园,使出产丰收。They sow fields and plant vineyardsthat yield a fruitful harvest.
- 38.他们得到祝福,大大兴旺,他们的牲畜并不减少。They are blessed and they increase greatly—their cattle do not decrease,
- 39.当他们人数稀少,又被欺压、困苦、愁苦所压制after they had been few and crushedby oppression, misery, and sorrow.
- 40.他使君王失去悟念,又使他们在无路的旷野中彷徨无依。[God] pours contempt on noblesand makes them lose their way in trackless deserts;
- 41.但贫穷的人得免苦难,他们的家族繁衍如羊群增多。but the needy are secured from suffering,their families increased like flocks.
- 42.义人看见就欢喜;一切作孽的人闭口无言。The upright see it and rejoice;the mouth of all wrongdoers is stopped.
- 43.智慧人必留意这些事,思想耶和华的慈爱。One who is wise will take note of these thingsand consider GOD’s steadfast love.
