1. 1.以色列全会众从以琳起行，在出埃及地以后第二个月十五日，到了以琳和西奈之间的汛的旷野。Setting out from Elim, the whole Israelite community came to the wilderness of Sin, which is between Elim and Sinai, on the fifteenth day of the second month after their departure from the land of Egypt. 💡
2. 2.在旷野中，以色列全会众向摩西和亚伦发怨言。In the wilderness, the whole Israelite community grumbled against Moses and Aaron.💡
3. 3.以色列人向他们说："我们巴不得在埃及地坐在肉锅旁边，吃饱的时候，就死在耶和华的手下！你们倒把我们领出来，到这旷野里，要叫这全会众都饿死！"The Israelites said to them, “If only we had died by GOD’s hand in the land of Egypt, when we sat by the fleshpots, when we ate our fill of bread! For you have brought us out into this wilderness to starve this whole congregation to death.”💡
4. 4.神对摩西说："我要从天上降粮食给你们，百姓可以出去，每天收取当天的分量，这样我可以试验他们，看他们是否遵行我的吩咐。"And GOD said to Moses, “I will rain down bread for you from the sky, and the people shall go out and gather each day that day’s portion—that I may thus test them, to see whether they will follow My instructions or not.💡
5. 5.但在第六天，他们分派所收聚的时候，必比每日所收聚的多一倍。But on the sixth day, when they apportion what they have brought in, it shall prove to be double the amount they gather each day.” 💡

7. 7.早晨你们必看见耶和华的荣耀，因为耶和华听见了你们对祂所发的怨言。我们算什么，你们竟向我们发怨言呢？and in the morning you shall behold the Presence of GOD, who has heard your grumblings against GOD. For who are we that you should grumble against us?💡
8. 8.既然是耶和华，摩西继续说，必在晚上赐给你们肉吃，早晨赐给你们食物吃饱，因为耶和华听见了你们向他所发的怨言——我们在其中算什么？你们的怨言不是向我们发的，乃是向耶和华发的！Since it is GOD,” Moses continued, “who will give you flesh to eat in the evening and bread in the morning to the full—because GOD has heard the grumblings you utter—what is our part? Your grumbling is against GOD, not against us!”💡

12. 12.我听见了以色列人的怨言。你要对他们说：傍晚你们必吃肉，早晨你们必吃饱；你们就知道我永恒主是你们的神。“I have heard the grumbling of the Israelites. Speak to them and say: By evening you shall eat flesh, and in the morning you shall have your fill of bread; and you shall know that I the ETERNAL am your God.”💡
13. 13.晚上，有鹌鹑飞来，遮满了营；早晨，营的四围有露水。In the evening quail appeared and covered the camp; in the morning there was a fall of dew about the camp.💡
14. 14.露水升上之后，旷野的地面上有一层细小的鳞片之物，细如地上的霜。When the fall of dew lifted, there, over the surface of the wilderness, lay a fine and flaky substance, as fine as frost on the ground. 💡
15. 15.以色列人看见, 就彼此对问说: 这是什么呢? 因为他们不知道那是什么. 摩西对他们说: 这就是耶和华赐给你们吃的食物.When the Israelites saw it, they said to one another, “What is it?”; in contrast to others “It is manna.”—for they did not know what it was. And Moses said to them, “That is the bread that GOD has given you to eat.💡
16. 16.这是耶和华所吩咐的：各人要按着各人的饭量收取，各人按着家中的人口人数，按各人帐棚里的人数收取一俄梅珥。This is what GOD has commanded: Each household shall gather as much as it requires to eat—an omer to a person for as many of you as there are; each household shall fetch according to those in its tent.”💡
17. 17.以色列人就这样行，有的收的多，有的收的少。The Israelites did so, some gathering much, some little. 💡
18. 18.但他们按俄梅珥量的时候，多收的也没有余，少收的也没有缺，各人按着自己的饭量收取。But when they measured it by the omer, anyone who had gathered much had no excess, and anyone who had gathered little had no deficiency: each household had gathered as much as it needed to eat.💡
19. 19.摩西对他们说：“谁也不可把一些留到早晨。”And Moses said to them, “Let no one leave any of it over until morning.” 💡
20. 20.但他们不听从摩西，有人把一些留到早晨，那些就生虫发臭了。摩西就向他们发怒。But they paid no attention to Moses; some of them left of it until morning, and it became infested with maggots and stank. And Moses was angry with them.💡
21. 21.他们每日早晨收取，各人按着自己的食量吃；因为日头一晒，就融化了。So they gathered it every morning, as much as each one needed to eat; for when the sun grew hot, it would melt. 💡
22. 22.第六天，他们收取双倍的食物，每人是两俄梅珥；众首领来告诉摩西，On the sixth day they gathered double the amount of food, two omers for each; and when all the chieftains of the community came and told Moses,💡
23. 23.他对他们说：“这是耶和华的意思：明天是安息日，是归耶和华为圣的安息日。你们要烤的就烤了，要煮的就煮了，所剩下的都留着存到早晨。”he said to them, “This is what GOD meant: Tomorrow is a day of rest, a holy sabbath of GOD. Bake what you would bake and boil what you would boil; and all that is left put aside to be kept until morning.”💡
24. 24.他们就按摩西所吩咐的留到早晨，也不发臭，也没有虫子。So they put it aside until morning, as Moses had ordered; and it did not turn foul, and there were no maggots in it. 💡
25. 25.摩西说：今天可以吃，因为今天是耶和华的安息日，你们今日在田野必找不着。Then Moses said, “Eat it today, for today is a sabbath of GOD; you will not find it today on the plain.💡
26. 26.六天可以收取，第七天是安息日，那一天就什么都没有了。Six days you shall gather it; on the seventh day, the sabbath, there will be none.”💡
27. 27.然而第七日，民间有人出去收取，却什么也找不着。Yet some of the people went out on the seventh day to gather, but they found nothing. 💡
28. 28.耶和华对摩西说：“你们到几时不肯遵守我的诫命，不遵行我的律例呢？”And GOD said to Moses, “How long will you all refuse to obey My commandments and My teachings?💡
29. 29.当知道，这乃是神既赐给你们安息日，就在第六天赐给你们两天的食物。各人要守在原处，第七天不可有人离开那地方。Mark that it is GOD who, having given you the sabbath, therefore gives you two days’ food on the sixth day. Let everyone remain in place: let no one leave the vicinity on the seventh day.”💡
30. 30.于是百姓在第七日都住在原地不动。So the people remained inactive on the seventh day.💡
31. 31.以色列家给这食物起名叫吗哪；它样子像芫荽子，颜色是白的，滋味如同搀蜜的薄饼。The house of Israel named it manna;. it was like coriander seed, white, and it tasted like wafers uncertain. in honey.💡
32. 32.摩西说：“这是耶和华所吩咐的：‘要将一满俄梅珥留着世世代代，好叫他们看见我领你们出埃及地的时候，在旷野所赐给你们吃的食物。’”Moses said, “This is what GOD has commanded: Let one omer of it be kept throughout the ages, in order that they may see the bread that I fed you in the wilderness when I brought you out from the land of Egypt.”💡
33. 33.摩西对亚伦说：“拿一个罐子来，盛一满俄梅珥吗哪，摆在耶和华面前，存留直到世世代代。”And Moses said to Aaron, “Take a jar, put one omer of manna in it, and place it before GOD, to be kept throughout the ages.”💡
34. 34.亚伦照神所吩咐摩西的，把它放在约前存留。As GOD had commanded Moses, Aaron placed it before the Pact, to be kept.💡
35. 35.以色列人吃吗哪共四十年，直到进了有人居住的地方；他们吃吗哪，直到到了迦南地的边界。And the Israelites ate manna forty years, until they came to a settled land; they ate the manna until they came to the border of the land of Canaan. 💡
36. 36.俄梅珥是伊法的十分之一。The omer is a tenth of an ephah.💡
