1. 1.以色列全会众从汛的旷野照耶和华所吩咐的按站前行，在利非订安营。百姓没有水喝。From the wilderness of Sin the whole Israelite community continued by stages as GOD would command. They encamped at Rephidim, and there was no water for the people to drink.💡
2. 2.百姓与摩西争闹，说："给我们水喝。"摩西对他们说："你们为什么与我争闹？为什么试探耶和华？"The people quarreled with Moses. “Give us water to drink,” they said; and Moses replied to them, “Why do you quarrel with me? Why do you try GOD?”💡
3. 3.然而百姓在那里渴了水，百姓向摩西抱怨，说："你为什么把我们从埃及领上来，使我们和我们的儿女以及牲畜都渴死呢？"But the people thirsted there for water; and the people grumbled against Moses and said, “Why did you bring us up from Egypt, to kill us and our children and livestock with thirst?” 💡
4. 4.摩西向神呼求说："我该怎样对待这百姓呢？他们几乎要拿石头打死我了！"Moses cried out to GOD, saying, “What shall I do with this people? Before long they will be stoning me!”💡
5. 5.然后耶和华对摩西说："你要走在百姓前面，要带着以色列的几个长老，并手里拿着你击打尼罗河的那根杖，前行吧。"Then GOD said to Moses, “Pass before the people; take with you some of the elders of Israel, and take along the rod with which you struck the Nile, and set out.💡
6. 6.我必在何烈的磐石那里站在你面前。你击打磐石，从磐石里必有水水流出来，使百姓可以喝。摩西在以色列的长老眼前这样行了。I will be standing there before you on the rock at Horeb. Strike the rock and water will issue from it, and the people will drink.” And Moses did so in the sight of the elders of Israel. 💡
7. 7.那地方被叫做玛撒和米利巴，因为以色列人争闹，又因他们试探神，说：“神是在我们中间，还是不在我们中间呢？”The place was named Massah and Meribah, because the Israelites quarreled and because they tried GOD, saying, “Is GOD present among us or not?”💡
8. 8.亚玛力人来在利非订与以色列人争战。Amalek came and fought with Israel at Rephidim.💡
9. 9.摩西对约书亚说：“你为我们挑选人，出去与亚玛力争战。明天我要站在山顶上，手里拿着神的杖。”Moses said to Joshua, “Pick some troops for us, and go out and do battle with Amalek. Tomorrow I will station myself on the top of the hill, with the rod of God in my hand.” 💡
10. 10.约书亚照摩西对他所说的去行，与亚玛力人争战；摩西、亚伦和户珥上了山顶。Joshua did as Moses told him and fought with Amalek, while Moses, Aaron, and Hur went up to the top of the hill. 💡
11. 11.于是摩西何时举手，以色列人就得胜；何时垂手，亚玛力人就得胜。Then, whenever Moses held up his hand, Israel prevailed; but whenever he let down his hand, Amalek prevailed. 💡
12. 12.但摩西的手发沉，他们就搬一块石头来，放在他下面，他就坐在上面。亚伦与户珥各在一边扶持他的手，这样他的手就稳住，直到日落的时候。But Moses’ hands grew heavy; so they took a stone and put it under him and he sat on it, while Aaron and Hur, one on each side, supported his hands; thus his hands remained steady until the sun set. 💡
13. 13.约书亚用刀击败了亚玛力人。And Joshua overwhelmed the people of Amalek with the sword.💡
14. 14.耶和华对摩西说：“你要将这话写在书上作记念，又念给约书亚听：我要将亚玛力的名号从天下全然涂抹！”Then GOD said to Moses, “Inscribe this in a document as a reminder, and read it aloud to Joshua: I will utterly blot out the memory of Amalek from under heaven!”💡
15. 15.摩西筑了一座坛，给它起名叫耶和华尼西。And Moses built an altar and named it Adonai-nissi.💡
16. 16.他说："这意味着'手按在耶和华宝座上'。耶和华必世世代代与亚玛力人争战。"He said, “It means, ‘Hand upon the throne uncertain. of Yah!’ GOD will be at war with Amalek throughout the ages.”💡
