- 1.哈利路亚。你们要赞美耶和华,因他本为善,他的慈爱永远长存。Hallelujah.Praise GOD, who is good—whose steadfast love is eternal.
- 2.谁能述说神的大能作为,传扬祂一切当得的赞美?Who can tell GOD’s mighty acts,proclaim all due praises?
- 3.行事公正、时常行义的,这人便为有福。Happy are those who act justly,who do right at all times.

- 6.我们与我们的祖宗一同犯罪;我们作了孽,行了恶。We have sinned like our ancestors;we have gone astray, done evil.
- 7.我们的祖先在埃及不明白你的神迹,不记得你丰盛的慈爱,却在海边——在芦苇海悖逆了你。Our ancestors in Egypt did not perceive Your wonders;they did not remember Your abundant love,but rebelled at the sea, at the Sea of Reeds.
- 8.然而他拯救了他们,为要彰显他的大能。Yet they were saved, as befits God’s name,to make known God’s might.
- 9.有狂风袭击芦苇海,海水便干了;他们从深水中走过,如同行经旷野。A blast was sent against the Sea of Reeds;it became dry;they were led through the deep as through a wilderness.
- 10.他们得拯救脱离敌人,得赎回归脱离仇敌。They were delivered from the foe,redeemed from the enemy.
- 11.水淹没他们的仇敌,一个也没有剩下。Water covered their adversaries;not one of them was left.
- 12.他们就信了他的话,歌唱赞美他。Then they believed God’s promise,and sang God’s praises.
- 13.他们却很快忘记了那些作为,不肯等候去领悟神的旨意。But they soon forgot those deeds;they would not wait to learn the divine plan.
- 14.他们在旷野中大起贪欲,在荒凉之地试探神。They were seized with craving in the wilderness,and put God to the test in the wasteland.
- 15.他们得到了所求的,却渐渐衰败。They were given what they asked for,then made to waste away.
- 16.在营中他们嫉妒摩西,和 神的圣者亚伦。There was envy of Moses in the camp,and of Aaron, GOD’s holy one.
- 17.地裂开,吞没了达坦,掩覆了亚比兰一伙。The earth opened up and swallowed Dathan,closed over the party of Abiram.
- 18.在他们中间必有火燃烧,吞灭恶人的火焰。A fire blazed among their party,a flame that consumed the wicked.
- 19.他们在何烈山造了牛犊,向铸成的偶像叩拜。They made a calf at Horeband bowed down to a molten image.
- 20.他们将自己的荣耀,换为吃草之牛的形像。They exchanged their gloryfor the image of a bull that feeds on grass.
- 21.他们忘了拯救他们的神,在埃及行大事的神,They forgot God who saved them,who performed great deeds in Egypt,
- 22.在含地行奇妙的事,在红海行可畏的事。wondrous deeds in the land of Ham,awesome deeds at the Sea of Reeds.
- 23.若不是摩西——神所拣选的——站在破口之处,阻挡神毁灭的怒气,他们必被除灭。They would have been destroyedhad not Moses, God’s chosen one,stood in the breachto avert God’s destructive wrath.
- 24.他们藐视那可羡慕之地,不信他的应许。They rejected the desirable land,and put no faith in the divine promise.
- 25.他们在自己的帐棚里发怨言,不听从上帝的话。They grumbled in their tentsand disobeyed GOD.
- 26.于是有圣手举起起誓,要使他们在旷野中倒毙。So a divine hand was raised in oathto make them fall in the wilderness,
- 27.将他们的后裔分散在列国中,在各地散布他们。to disperse their offspring among the nationsand scatter them through the lands.
- 28.他们依附巴力毗珥,吃了祭祀死人的祭物。They attached themselves to Baal Peor,ate sacrifices offered to the dead.
- 29.他们因自己的行为惹动他的怒气,所以瘟疫临到他们中间。They provoked anger by their deeds,and a plague broke out among them.
- 30.非尼哈挺身而出,加以干预,瘟疫便止息了。Phinehas stepped forth and intervened,and the plague ceased.
- 31.这必被算为他的功德,世世代代,直到永远。It was reckoned to his meritfor all generations, to eternity.
- 32.他们在米利巴水边惹动怒气,因他们的缘故摩西也受了亏损。They provoked wrath at the waters of Meribahand Moses suffered on their account,
- 33.因为他悖逆 神的灵,摩西用嘴说了急躁的话。because they rebelled against [God]and he spoke rashly.
- 34.他们不照神所吩咐的灭绝那些列国They did not destroy the nationsas GOD had commanded them,
- 35.却与外邦人混杂,学习他们的行为。but mingled with the nationsand learned their ways.
- 36.他们敬拜偶像,这成了他们的网罗。They worshiped their idols,which became a snare for them.
- 37.他们将自己的儿女祭祀鬼魔。Their own sons and daughtersthey sacrificed to demons.
- 38.他们流无辜人的血,就是自己儿女的血,献给迦南的偶像;因此那地被流血的罪所玷污。They shed innocent blood,the blood of their sons and daughters,whom they sacrificed to the idols of Canaan;so the land was polluted with bloodguilt.
- 39.他们因自己的行为玷污了自己,因自己的作为而堕落。Thus they became defiled by their acts,debauched through their deeds.
- 40.神向这百姓发怒,厌恶他们如自己的产业GOD was angry with this peopleand abhorred them as an inheritance.
- 41.他们被交在列国手中,仇敌辖制他们。They were handed over to the nations;their foes ruled them.
- 42.他们的仇敌压迫他们,使他们服在敌人的权势之下。Their enemies oppressed themand they were subject to their power.
- 43.他们屡次蒙拯救,却故意悖逆,终因自己的罪孽而卑微受辱。They were saved time and again,but they were deliberately rebellious,and so they were brought low by their iniquity.
- 44.看见他们受苦,听见他们的哀声,Upon seeing that they were in distress,and hearing their cry,
- 45.他记念他的约,又因他极大的信实而回转。[God] was mindful of the covenantand in great faithfulness relented.
- 46.他使掳掠他们的人恩待他们。Their captors were made to be kindly disposed toward them.
- 47.拯救我们,永在的上主, 从万邦中招聚我们, 使我们称颂您的圣名, 使我们以赞美您为荣耀。Deliver us, our ETERNAL God,and gather us from among the nations,to acclaim Your holy name,to glory in Your praise.
- 48.以色列的神耶和华是当受称颂的,从亘古直到永远。愿众民都说:阿们。哈利路亚。Blessed is the ETERNAL, God of Israel,From eternity to eternity.Let all the people say, “Amen.”Hallelujah.
