1.El rey se alegra en tu poder, oh Jehová; Y en tu salvación, ¡cómo se goza!For the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David. The king shall joy in thy strength, O Jehovah; And in thy salvation how greatly shall he rejoice!
2.Le has concedido el deseo de su corazón, Y no le negaste la petición de sus labios. SelahThou hast given him his heart's desire, And hast not withholden the request of his lips. [Selah]
3.Porque le has salido al encuentro con bendiciones de bien; Corona de oro fino has puesto sobre su cabeza.For thou meetest him with the blessings of goodness: Thou settest a crown of fine gold on his head.
4.Vida te demandó, y se la diste; Largura de días eternamente y para siempre.He asked life of thee, thou gavest it him, Even length of days for ever and ever.
5.Grande es su gloria en tu salvación; Honra y majestad has puesto sobre él.His glory is great in thy salvation: Honor and majesty dost thou lay upon him.
6.Porque lo has bendecido para siempre; Lo llenaste de alegría con tu presencia.For thou makest him most blessed for ever: Thou makest him glad with joy in thy presence.
7.Por cuanto el rey confía en Jehová, Y en la misericordia del Altísimo, no será conmovido.For the king trusteth in Jehovah; And through the lovingkindness of the Most High he shall not be moved.
8.Alcanzará tu mano a todos tus enemigos; Tu diestra alcanzará a los que te aborrecen.Thy hand will find out all thine enemies; Thy right hand will find out those that hate thee.
9.Los pondrás como horno de fuego en el tiempo de tu ira; Jehová los deshará en su ira, Y fuego los consumirá.Thou wilt make them as a fiery furnace in the time of thine anger: Jehovah will swallow them up in his wrath, And the fire shall devour them.
10.Su fruto destruirás de la tierra, Y su descendencia de entre los hijos de los hombres.Their fruit wilt thou destroy from the earth, And their seed from among the children of men.
11.Porque intentaron el mal contra ti; Fraguaron maquinaciones, mas no prevalecerán,For they intended evil against thee; They conceived a device which they are not able to perform.
12.Pues tú los pondrás en fuga; En tus cuerdas dispondrás saetas contra sus rostros.For thou wilt make them turn their back; Thou wilt make ready with thy bowstrings against their face.
13.Engrandécete, oh Jehová, en tu poder; Cantaremos y alabaremos tu poderío.Be thou exalted, O Jehovah, in thy strength: So will we sing and praise thy power.
