중영 대조

1. 1.내가 보니 바다에서 한 짐승이 나오는데 뿔이 열이요 머리가 일곱이라 그 뿔에는 열 왕관이 있고 그 머리들에는 신성모독 하는 이름들이 있더라and he stood upon the sand of the sea. And I saw a beast coming up out of the sea, having ten horns, and seven heads, and on his horns ten diadems, and upon his heads names of blasphemy.💡
2. 2.내가 본 짐승은 표범과 비슷하고 그 발은 곰의 발 같고 그 입은 사자의 입 같은데 용이 자기의 능력과 보좌와 큰 권세를 그에게 주었더라And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his throne, and great authority.💡
3. 3.그의 머리 하나가 상하여 죽게 된 것 같더니 그 죽게 되었던 상처가 나으매 온 땅이 놀랍게 여겨 짐승을 따르고And I saw one of his heads as though it had been smitten unto death; and his death-stroke was healed: and the whole earth wondered after the beast;💡
4. 4.용이 짐승에게 권세를 주므로 용에게 경배하며 짐승에게 경배하여 이르되 누가 이 짐승과 같으냐 누가 능히 이와 더불어 싸우리요 하더라and they worshipped the dragon, because he gave his authority unto the beast; and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? And who is able to war with him?💡
5. 5.또 짐승이 과장되고 신성모독을 말하는 입을 받고 또 마흔두 달 동안 일할 권세를 받으니라and there was given to him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and there was given to him authority to continue forty and two months.💡
6. 6.짐승이 입을 벌려 하나님을 향하여 비방하되 그의 이름과 그의 장막 곧 하늘에 사는 자들을 비방하더라And he opened his mouth for blasphemies against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, even them that dwell in the heaven.💡
7. 7.또 권세를 받아 성도들과 싸워 이기게 되고 각 족속과 백성과 방언과 나라를 다스리는 권세를 받으니And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and there was given to him authority over every tribe and people and tongue and nation.💡
8. 8.죽임을 당한 어린 양의 생명책에 창세 이후로 이름이 기록되지 못하고 이 땅에 사는 자들은 다 그 짐승에게 경배하리라And all that dwell on the earth shall worship him, every one whose name hath not been written from the foundation of the world in the book of life of the Lamb that hath been slain.💡
9. 9.누구든지 귀가 있거든 들을지어다If any man hath an ear, let him hear.💡
10. 10.사로잡힐 자는 사로잡혀 갈 것이요 칼에 죽을 자는 마땅히 칼에 죽을 것이니 성도들의 인내와 믿음이 여기 있느니라If any man is for captivity, into captivity he goeth: if any man shall kill with the sword, with the sword must he be killed. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.💡
11. 11.내가 보매 또 다른 짐승이 땅에서 올라오니 어린 양 같이 두 뿔이 있고 용처럼 말을 하더라And I saw another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like unto a lamb, and he spake as a dragon.💡
12. 12.그가 먼저 나온 짐승의 모든 권세를 그 앞에서 행하고 땅과 땅에 사는 자들을 처음 짐승에게 경배하게 하니 곧 죽게 되었던 상처가 나은 자니라And he exerciseth all the authority of the first beast in his sight. And he maketh the earth and them that dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose death-stroke was healed.💡
13. 13.큰 이적을 행하되 심지어 사람들 앞에서 불이 하늘로부터 땅에 내려오게 하고And he doeth great signs, that he should even make fire to come down out of heaven upon the earth in the sight of men.💡
14. 14.짐승 앞에서 받은 바 이적을 행함으로 땅에 거하는 자들을 미혹하며 땅에 거하는 자들에게 이르기를 칼에 상하였다가 살아난 짐승을 위하여 우상을 만들라 하더라And he deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by reason of the signs which it was given him to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast who hath the stroke of the sword and lived.💡
15. 15.그가 권세를 받아 그 짐승의 우상에게 생기를 주어 그 짐승의 우상으로 말하게 하고 또 짐승의 우상에게 경배하지 아니하는 자는 몇이든지 다 죽이게 하더라And it was given unto him to give breath to it, even to the image to the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as should not worship the image of the beast should be killed.💡
16. 16.그가 모든 자 곧 작은 자나 큰 자나 부자나 가난한 자나 자유인이나 종들에게 그 오른손에나 이마에 표를 받게 하고And he causeth all, the small and the great, and the rich and the poor, and the free and the bond, that there be given them a mark on their right hand, or upon their forehead;💡
17. 17.누구든지 이 표를 가진 자 외에는 매매를 못하게 하니 이 표는 곧 짐승의 이름이나 그 이름의 수라and that no man should be able to buy or to sell, save he that hath the mark, even the name of the beast or the number of his name.💡
18. 18.지혜가 여기 있으니 총명한 자는 그 짐승의 수를 세어 보라 그것은 사람의 수니 그의 수는 육백육십육이니라Here is wisdom. He that hath understanding, let him count the number of the beast; for it is the number of a man: and his number is Six hundred and sixty and six.💡
