인물生平

John, son of Zebedee, was called with his brother James among the first disciples. He reclined near Jesus at the Last Supper and was entrusted with Mary from the cross. Tradition credits him with the Gospel of John, the three letters, and Revelation: the Gospel opens with 'In the beginning was the Word' to proclaim Jesus' deity, and 1 John declares 'God is love' (1 John 4:8).
