1.하나님이여 내가 근심하는 소리를 들으시고 원수의 두려움에서 나의 생명을 보존하소서For the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David. Hear my voice, O God, in my complaint: Preserve my life from fear of the enemy.
2.주는 악을 꾀하는 자들의 음모에서 나를 숨겨 주시고 악을 행하는 자들의 소동에서 나를 감추어 주소서Hide me from the secret counsel of evil-doers, From the tumult of the workers of iniquity;
3.그들이 칼 같이 자기 혀를 연마하며 화살 같이 독한 말로 겨누고Who have whet their tongue like a sword, And have aimed their arrows, even bitter words,
4.숨은 곳에서 온전한 자를 쏘며 갑자기 쏘고 두려워하지 아니하는도다That they may shoot in secret places at the perfect: Suddenly do they shoot at him, and fear not.
5.그들은 악한 목적으로 서로 격려하며 남몰래 올무 놓기를 함께 의논하고 하는 말이 누가 우리를 보리요 하며They encourage themselves in an evil purpose; They commune of laying snares privily; They say, Who will see them?
6.그들은 죄악을 꾸미며 이르기를 우리가 묘책을 찾았다 하나니 각 사람의 속 뜻과 마음이 깊도다They search out iniquities; We have accomplished, say they, a diligent search: And the inward thought and the heart of every one is deep.
7.그러나 하나님이 그들을 쏘시리니 그들이 갑자기 화살에 상하리로다But God will shoot at them; With an arrow suddenly shall they be wounded.
8.이러므로 그들이 엎드러지리니 그들의 혀가 그들을 해함이라 그들을 보는 자가 다 머리를 흔들리로다So they shall be made to stumble, their own tongue being against them: All that see them shall wag the head.
9.모든 사람이 두려워하여 하나님의 일을 선포하며 그의 행하심을 깊이 생각하리로다And all men shall fear; And they shall declare the work of God, And shall wisely consider of his doing.
10.의인은 여호와로 말미암아 즐거워하며 그에게 피하리니 마음이 정직한 자는 다 자랑하리로다The righteous shall be glad in Jehovah, and shall take refuge in him; And all the upright in heart shall glory.
