1.하나님이여 침묵하지 마소서 하나님이여 잠잠하지 마시고 조용하지 마소서A Song, a Psalm of Asaph. O God, keep not thou silence: Hold not thy peace, and be not still, O God.
2.무릇 주의 원수들이 떠들며 주를 미워하는 자들이 머리를 들었나이다For, lo, thine enemies make a tumult; And they that hate thee have lifted up the head.
3.그들이 주의 백성을 치려 하여 간계를 꾀하며 주께서 숨기신 자를 치려고 서로 의논하여Thy take crafty counsel against thy people, And consult together against thy hidden ones.
4.말하기를 가서 그들을 멸하여 다시 나라가 되지 못하게 하여 이스라엘의 이름으로 다시는 기억되지 못하게 하자 하나이다They have said, Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation; That the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance.
5.그들이 한마음으로 의논하고 주를 대적하여 서로 동맹하니For they have consulted together with one consent; Against thee do they make a covenant:
6.곧 에돔의 장막과 이스마엘인과 모압과 하갈인이며The tents of Edom and the Ishmaelites; Moab, and the Hagarenes;
7.그발과 암몬과 아말렉이며 블레셋과 두로 사람이요Gebal, and Ammon, and Amalek; Philistia with the inhabitants of Tyre:
8.앗수르도 그들과 연합하여 롯 자손의 도움이 되었나이다 (셀라)Assyria also is joined with them; They have helped the children of Lot. Selah
9.주는 미디안인에게 행하신 것 같이, 기손 시내에서 시스라와 야빈에게 행하신 것 같이 그들에게도 행하소서Do thou unto them as unto Midian, As to Sisera, as to Jabin, at the river Kishon;
10.그들은 엔돌에서 패망하여 땅에 거름이 되었나이다Who perished at Endor, Who became as dung for the earth.
11.그들의 귀인들이 오렙과 스엡 같게 하시며 그들의 모든 고관들은 세바와 살문나와 같게 하소서Make their nobles like Oreb and Zeeb; Yea, all their princes like Zebah and Zalmunna;
12.그들이 말하기를 우리가 하나님의 목장을 우리의 소유로 취하자 하였나이다Who said, Let us take to ourselves in possession The habitations of God.
13.나의 하나님이여 그들이 굴러가는 검불 같게 하시며 바람에 날리는 지푸라기 같게 하소서O my God, make them like the whirling dust; As stubble before the wind.
14.삼림을 사르는 불과 산에 붙는 불길 같이As the fire that burneth the forest, And as the flame that setteth the mountains on fire,
15.주의 광풍으로 그들을 쫓으시며 주의 폭풍으로 그들을 두렵게 하소서So pursue them with thy tempest, And terrify them with thy storm.
16.여호와여 그들의 얼굴에 수치가 가득하게 하사 그들이 주의 이름을 찾게 하소서Fill their faces with confusion, That they may seek thy name, O Jehovah.
17.그들로 수치를 당하여 영원히 놀라게 하시며 낭패와 멸망을 당하게 하사Let them be put to shame and dismayed for ever; Yea, let them be confounded and perish;
18.여호와라 이름하신 주만 온 세계의 지존자로 알게 하소서That they may know that thou alone, whose name is Jehovah, Art the Most High over all the earth.
