중영 대조

1. 1.그런즉 육신으로 우리 조상인 아브라함이 무엇을 얻었다 하리요What then shall we say that Abraham, our forefather, hath found according to the flesh?💡
2. 2.만일 아브라함이 행위로써 의롭다 하심을 받았으면 자랑할 것이 있으려니와 하나님 앞에서는 없느니라For if Abraham was justified by works, he hath whereof to glory; but not toward God.💡
3. 3.성경이 무엇을 말하느냐 아브라함이 하나님을 믿으매 그것이 그에게 의로 여겨진 바 되었느니라For what saith the scripture? And Abraham believed God, and it was reckoned unto him for righteousness.💡
4. 4.일하는 자에게는 그 삯이 은혜로 여겨지지 아니하고 보수로 여겨지거니와Now to him that worketh, the reward is not reckoned as of grace, but as of debt.💡
5. 5.일을 아니할지라도 경건하지 아니한 자를 의롭다 하시는 이를 믿는 자에게는 그의 믿음을 의로 여기시나니But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is reckoned for righteousness.💡
6. 6.일한 것이 없이 하나님께 의로 여기심을 받는 사람의 복에 대하여 다윗이 말한 바Even as David also pronounceth blessing upon the man, unto whom God reckoneth righteousness apart from works,💡
7. 7.불법이 사함을 받고 죄가 가리어짐을 받는 사람들은 복이 있고saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, And whose sins are covered.💡
8. 8.주께서 그 죄를 인정하지 아니하실 사람은 복이 있도다 함과 같으니라Blessed is the man to whom, the Lord will not reckon sin.💡
9. 9.그런즉 이 복이 할례자에게냐 혹은 무할례자에게도냐 무릇 우리가 말하기를 아브라함에게는 그 믿음이 의로 여겨졌다 하노라Is this blessing then pronounced upon the circumcision, or upon the uncircumcision also? for we say, To Abraham his faith was reckoned for righteousness.💡
10. 10.그런즉 그것이 어떻게 여겨졌느냐 할례시냐 무할례시냐 할례시가 아니요 무할례시니라How then was it reckoned? when he was in circumcision, or in uncircumcision? Not in circumcision, but in uncircumcision:💡
11. 11.그가 할례의 표를 받은 것은 무할례시에 믿음으로 된 의를 인친 것이니 이는 무할례자로서 믿는 모든 자의 조상이 되어 그들도 의로 여기심을 얻게 하려 하심이라and he received the sign of circumcision, a seal of the righteousness of the faith which he had while he was in uncircumcision; that he might be the father of all them that believe, though they be in uncircumcision, that righteousness might be reckoned unto them;💡
12. 12.또한 할례자의 조상이 되었나니 곧 할례 받을 자에게뿐 아니라 우리 조상 아브라함이 무할례시에 가졌던 믿음의 자취를 따르는 자들에게도 그러하니라and the father of circumcision to them who not only are of the circumcision, but who also walk in the steps of that faith of our father Abraham which he had in uncircumcision.💡
13. 13.아브라함이나 그 후손에게 세상의 상속자가 되리라고 하신 언약은 율법으로 말미암은 것이 아니요 오직 믿음의 의로 말미암은 것이니라For not through the law was the promise to Abraham or to his seed that he should be heir of the world, but through the righteousness of faith.💡
14. 14.만일 율법에 속한 자들이 상속자이면 믿음은 헛것이 되고 약속은 파기되었느니라For if they that are of the law are heirs, faith is made void, and the promise is made of none effect:💡
15. 15.율법은 진노를 이루게 하나니 율법이 없는 곳에는 범법도 없느니라for the law worketh wrath; but where there is no law, neither is there transgression.💡
16. 16.그러므로 상속자가 되는 그것이 은혜에 속하기 위하여 믿음으로 되나니 이는 그 약속을 그 모든 후손에게 굳게 하려 하심이라 율법에 속한 자에게뿐만 아니라 아브라함의 믿음에 속한 자에게도 그러하니 아브라함은 우리 모든 사람의 조상이라For this cause it is of faith, that it may be according to grace; to the end that the promise may be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all💡
17. 17.기록된 바 내가 너를 많은 민족의 조상으로 세웠다 하심과 같으니 그가 믿은 바 하나님은 죽은 자를 살리시며 없는 것을 있는 것으로 부르시는 이시니라(as it is written, A father of many nations have I made thee) before him whom he believed, even God, who giveth life to the dead, and calleth the things that are not, as though they were.💡
18. 18.아브라함이 바랄 수 없는 중에 바라고 믿었으니 이는 네 후손이 이같으리라 하신 말씀대로 많은 민족의 조상이 되게 하려 하심이라Who in hope believed against hope, to the end that he might become a father of many nations, according to that which had been spoken, So shall thy seed be.💡
19. 19.그가 백 세나 되어 자기 몸이 죽은 것 같고 사라의 태가 죽은 것 같음을 알고도 믿음이 약하여지지 아니하고And without being weakened in faith he considered his own body now as good as dead (he being about a hundred years old), and the deadness of Sarah's womb;💡
20. 20.믿음이 없어 하나님의 약속을 의심하지 않고 믿음으로 견고하여져서 하나님께 영광을 돌리며yet, looking unto the promise of God, he wavered not through unbelief, but waxed strong through faith, giving glory to God,💡
21. 21.약속하신 그것을 또한 능히 이루실 줄을 확신하였으니and being fully assured that what he had promised, he was able also to perform.💡
22. 22.그러므로 그것이 그에게 의로 여겨졌느니라Wherefore also it was reckoned unto him for righteousness.💡
23. 23.그에게 의로 여겨졌다 기록된 것은 아브라함만 위한 것이 아니요Now it was not written for his sake alone, that it was reckoned unto him;💡
24. 24.의로 여기심을 받을 우리도 위함이니 곧 예수 우리 주를 죽은 자 가운데서 살리신 이를 믿는 자니라but for our sake also, unto whom it shall be reckoned, who believe on him that raised Jesus our Lord from the dead,💡
25. 25.예수는 우리가 범죄한 것 때문에 내줌이 되고 또한 우리를 의롭다 하시기 위하여 살아나셨느니라who was delivered up for our trespasses, and was raised for our justification.💡
