1.하나님이여 주의 인자를 따라 내게 은혜를 베푸시며 주의 많은 긍휼을 따라 내 죄악을 지워 주소서For the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David; when Nathan the prophet came unto him, after he had gone in to Bath-sheba. Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness: According to the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions.
2.나의 죄악을 말갛게 씻으시며 나의 죄를 깨끗이 제하소서Wash me thoroughly from mine iniquity, And cleanse me from my sin.
3.무릇 나는 내 죄과를 아오니 내 죄가 항상 내 앞에 있나이다For I know my transgressions; And my sin is ever before me.
4.내가 주께만 범죄하여 주의 목전에 악을 행하였사오니 주께서 말씀하실 때에 의로우시다 하고 주께서 심판하실 때에 순전하시다 하리이다Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, And done that which is evil in thy sight; That thou mayest be justified when thou speakest, And be clear when thou judgest.
5.내가 죄악 중에서 출생하였음이여 어머니가 죄 중에서 나를 잉태하였나이다Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity; And in sin did my mother conceive me.
6.보소서 주께서는 중심이 진실함을 원하시오니 내게 지혜를 은밀히 가르치시리이다Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts; And in the hidden part thou wilt make me to know wisdom.
7.우슬초로 나를 정결하게 하소서 내가 정하리이다 나의 죄를 씻어 주소서 내가 눈보다 희리이다Purify me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: Wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.
8.내게 즐겁고 기쁜 소리를 들려 주시사 주께서 꺾으신 뼈들도 즐거워하게 하소서Make me to hear joy and gladness, That the bones which thou hast broken may rejoice.
9.주의 얼굴을 내 죄에서 돌이키시고 내 모든 죄악을 지워 주소서Hide thy face from my sins, And blot out all mine iniquities.
10.하나님이여 내 속에 정한 마음을 창조하시고 내 안에 정직한 영을 새롭게 하소서Create in me a clean heart, O God; And renew a right spirit within me.
11.나를 주 앞에서 쫓아내지 마시며 주의 성령을 내게서 거두지 마소서Cast me not away from thy presence; And take not thy holy Spirit from me.
12.주의 구원의 즐거움을 내게 회복시켜 주시고 자원하는 심령을 주사 나를 붙드소서Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; And uphold me with a willing spirit.
13.그리하면 내가 범죄자에게 주의 도를 가르치리니 죄인들이 주께 돌아오리이다Then will I teach transgressors thy ways; And sinners shall be converted unto thee.
14.하나님이여 나의 구원의 하나님이여 피 흘린 죄에서 나를 건지소서 내 혀가 주의 의를 높이 노래하리이다Deliver me from bloodguiltiness, O God, thou God of my salvation; And my tongue shall sing aloud of thy righteousness.
15.주여 내 입술을 열어 주소서 내 입이 주를 찬송하여 전파하리이다O Lord, open thou my lips; And my mouth shall show forth thy praise.
16.주께서는 제사를 기뻐하지 아니하시나니 그렇지 아니하면 내가 드렸을 것이라 주는 번제를 기뻐하지 아니하시나이다For thou delightest not in sacrifice; else would I give it: Thou hast no pleasure in burnt-offering.
17.하나님께서 구하시는 제사는 상한 심령이라 하나님이여 상하고 통회하는 마음을 주께서 멸시하지 아니하시리이다The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: A broken and contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise.
18.주의 은택으로 시온에 선을 행하시고 예루살렘 성을 쌓으소서Do good in thy good pleasure unto Zion: Build thou the walls of Jerusalem.
19.그 때에 주께서 의로운 제사와 번제와 온전한 번제를 기뻐하시리니 그 때에 그들이 수소를 주의 제단에 드리리이다Then will thou delight in the sacrifices of righteousness, In burnt-offering and in whole burnt-offering: Then will they offer bullocks upon thine altar.
