这段经文的意思
The passage announces that God will raise up a righteous Branch for David. This ruler is described as a king who deals wisely, so his leadership is not merely powerful but marked by sound judgment and prudent governance.
His reign is defined by justice and righteousness in the land. The promised result is that Judah will be saved, Israel will dwell safely, and the people will no longer face the scattering and fear described in the preceding context.
The name Jehovah our righteousness identifies the saving and righteous rule announced here. The passage therefore presents the future king as the answer to failed shepherds: his wise, just, and righteous reign provides the hope of restoration.
