2.너는 이스라엘 자손에게 명령하여 그들에게 이르라 너희가 가나안 땅에 들어가는 때에 그 땅은 너희의 기업이 되리니 곧 가나안 사방 지경이라Command the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye come into the land of Canaan (this is the land that shall fall unto you for an inheritance, even the land of Canaan according to the borders thereof),
3.너희 남쪽은 에돔 곁에 접근한 신 광야니 너희의 남쪽 경계는 동쪽으로 염해 끝에서 시작하여then your south quarter shall be from the wilderness of Zin along by the side of Edom, and your south border shall be from the end of the Salt Sea eastward;
4.돌아서 아그랍빔 언덕 남쪽에 이르고 신을 지나 가데스바네아 남쪽에 이르고 또 하살아달을 지나 아스몬에 이르고and your border shall turn about southward of the ascent of Akrabbim, and pass along to Zin; and the goings out thereof shall be southward of Kadesh-barnea; and it shall go forth to Hazar-addar, and pass along to Azmon;
5.아스몬에서 돌아서 애굽 시내를 지나 바다까지 이르느니라and the border shall turn about from Azmon unto the brook of Egypt, and the goings out thereof shall be at the sea.
6.서쪽 경계는 대해가 경계가 되나니 이는 너희의 서쪽 경계니라And for the western border, ye shall have the great sea and the border thereof: this shall be your west border.
7.북쪽 경계는 이러하니 대해에서부터 호르 산까지 그어라And this shall be your north border: from the great sea ye shall mark out for you mount Hor;
8.호르 산에서 그어 하맛 어귀에 이르러 스닷에 이르고from mount Hor ye shall mark out unto the entrance of Hamath; and the goings out of the border shall be at Zedad;
9.그 경계가 또 시브론을 지나 하살에난에 이르나니 이는 너희의 북쪽 경계니라and the border shall go forth to Ziphron, and the goings out thereof shall be at Hazar-enan: this shall be your north border.
10.너희의 동쪽 경계는 하살에난에서 그어 스밤에 이르고And ye shall mark out your east border from Hazar-enan to Shepham;
11.그 경계가 또 스밤에서 리블라로 내려가서 아인 동쪽에 이르고 또 내려가서 긴네렛 동쪽 해변에 이르고and the border shall go down from Shepham to Riblah, on the east side of Ain; and the border shall go down, and shall reach unto the side of the sea of Chinnereth eastward;
12.그 경계가 또 요단으로 내려가서 염해에 이르나니 너희 땅의 사방 경계가 이러하니라and the border shall go down to the Jordan, and the goings out thereof shall be at the Salt Sea. This shall be your land according to the borders thereof round about.
13.모세가 이스라엘 자손에게 명령하여 이르되 이는 너희가 제비 뽑아 받을 땅이라 여호와께서 이것을 아홉 지파 반 쪽에게 주라고 명령하셨나니And Moses commanded the children of Israel, saying, This is the land which ye shall inherit by lot, which Jehovah hath commanded to give unto the nine tribes, and to the half - tribe;
14.이는 르우벤 자손의 지파와 갓 자손의 지파가 함께 그들의 조상의 가문에 따라 그들의 기업을 받을 것이며 므낫세의 반쪽도 기업을 받았음이니라for the tribe of the children of Reuben according to their fathers' houses, and the tribe of the children of Gad according to their fathers' houses, have received, and the half - tribe of Manasseh have received, their inheritance:
15.이 두 지파와 그 반 지파는 여리고 맞은편 요단 건너편 곧 해 돋는 쪽에서 그들의 기업을 받으리라the two tribes and the half - tribe have received their inheritance beyond the Jordan at Jericho eastward, toward the sunrising.
16.여호와께서 또 모세에게 말씀하여 이르시되And Jehovah spake unto Moses, saying,
17.너희에게 땅을 기업으로 나눌 자의 이름은 이러하니 제사장 엘르아살과 눈의 아들 여호수아니라These are the names of the men that shall divide the land unto you for inheritance: Eleazar the priest, and Joshua the son of Nun.
18.너희는 또 기업의 땅을 나누기 위하여 각 지파에 한 지휘관씩 택하라And ye shall take one prince of every tribe, to divide the land for inheritance.
19.그 사람들의 이름은 이러하니 유다 지파에서는 여분네의 아들 갈렙이요And these are the names of the men: Of the tribe of Judah, Caleb the son of Jephunneh.
20.시므온 지파에서는 암미훗의 아들 스므엘이요And of the tribe of the children of Simeon, Shemuel the son of Ammihud.
21.베냐민 지파에서는 기슬론의 아들 엘리닷이요Of the tribe of Benjamin, Elidad the son of Chislon.
22.단 자손 지파에서는 지휘관 요글리의 아들 북기요And of the tribe of the children of Dan a prince, Bukki the son of Jogli.
23.요셉 자손 중 므낫세 자손 지파에서는 지휘관 에봇의 아들 한니엘이요Of the children of Joseph: of the tribe of the children of Manasseh a prince, Hanniel the son of Ephod.
24.에브라임 자손 지파에서는 지휘관 십단의 아들 그므엘이요And of the tribe of the children of Ephraim a prince, Kemuel the son of Shiphtan.
25.스불론 자손 지파에서는 지휘관 바르낙의 아들 엘리사반이요And of the tribe of the children of Zebulun a prince, Elizaphan the son of Parnach.
26.잇사갈 자손 지파에서는 지휘관 앗산의 아들 발디엘이요And of the tribe of the children of Issachar a prince, Paltiel the son of Azzan.
27.아셀 자손 지파에서는 지휘관 슬로미의 아들 아히훗이요And of the tribe of the children of Asher a prince, Ahihud the son of Shelomi.
28.납달리 자손 지파에서는 지휘관 암미훗의 아들 브다헬이니라 하셨느니라And of the tribe of the children of Naphtali a prince, Pedahel the son of Ammihud.
29.이들이 여호와께서 명령하사 가나안 땅에서 이스라엘 자손에게 기업을 받게 하신 자들이니라These are they whom Jehovah commanded to divide the inheritance unto the children of Israel in the land of Canaan.
