굳건한 마음: 신뢰가 환경을 빛나게 할 때
시편 108편은 참된 믿음이 굳건한 마음으로 시작되어 하나님의 신실함을 바라봄으로 끝남을 가르칩니다.
A song. A psalm of David. My heart is firm, O God;I will sing and chant a hymn with all my soul. Awake, O harp and lyre!I will wake the dawn. I will praise You among the peoples, O ETERNAL One,sing a hymn to You among the nations; for Your faithfulness is higher than the heavens;Your steadfastness reaches to the sky. Exalt Yourself over the heavens, O God;let Your glory be over all the earth! That those whom You love may be rescued, deliver with Your right hand and answer me. God promised in the sanctuary that I would exultingly divide up Shechem, and measure the Valley of Sukkoth; Gilead and Manasseh would be mine,Ephraim my chief stronghold,Judah my scepter; Moab would be my washbasin;on Edom I would cast my shoe;I would raise a shout over Philistia. Would that I were brought to the bastion!Would that I were led to Edom! But You have rejected us, O God;God, You do not march with our armies. Grant us Your aid against the foe,for human help is worthless. We shall triumph with God,who will trample our foes.
Divided into two movements—praise (vv. 1–5) and petition (vv. 6–13)—Psalm 108 lifts resolute worship from a battlefield of apparent defeat, reminding the believer that God's steadfastness 'reaches to the sky' even when the army is rejected. David's 'heart is firm' (נָכוֹן לִבִּי) sets the spiritual tone of the entire song.
