  1. 1.耶 和 華 在 埃 及 地 曉 諭 摩 西 、 亞 倫 說 ：And Jehovah spake unto Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt, saying,
  2. 2.你 們 要 以 本 月 為 正 月 ， 為 一 年 之 首 。This month shall be unto you the beginning of months: it shall be the first month of the year to you.
  3. 3.你 們 吩 咐 以 色 列 全 會 眾 說 ： 本 月 初 十 日 ， 各 人 要 按 著 父 家 取 羊 羔 ， 一 家 一 隻 。Speak ye unto all the congregation of Israel, saying, In the tenth day of this month they shall take to them every man a lamb, according to their fathers' houses, a lamb for a household:
  4. 4.若 是 一 家 的 人 太 少 ， 吃 不 了 一 隻 羊 羔 ， 本 人 就 要 和 他 隔 壁 的 鄰 舍 共 取 一 隻 。 你 們 預 備 羊 羔 ， 要 按 著 人 數 和 飯 量 計 算 。and if the household be too little for a lamb, then shall he and his neighbor next unto his house take one according to the number of the souls; according to every man's eating ye shall make your count for the lamb.

  12. 12.因 為 那 夜 我 要 巡 行 埃 及 地 ， 把 埃 及 地 一 切 頭 生 的 ， 無 論 是 人 是 牲 畜 ， 都 擊 殺 了 ， 又 要 敗 壞 埃 及 一 切 的 　 神 。 我 是 耶 和 華 。For I will go through the land of Egypt in that night, and will smite all the first-born in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgments: I am Jehovah.
  13. 13.這 血 要 在 你 們 所 住 的 房 屋 上 作 記 號 ； 我 一 見 這 血 ， 就 越 過 你 們 去 。 我 擊 殺 埃 及 地 頭 生 的 時 候 ， 災 殃 必 不 臨 到 你 們 身 上 滅 你 們 。And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and there shall no plague be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt.
  14. 14.你 們 要 記 念 這 日 ， 守 為 耶 和 華 的 節 ， 作 為 你 們 世 世 代 代 永 遠 的 定 例 。And this day shall be unto you for a memorial, and ye shall keep it a feast to Jehovah: throughout your generations ye shall keep it a feast by an ordinance for ever.

  18. 18.從 正 月 十 四 日 晚 上 ， 直 到 二 十 一 日 晚 上 ， 你 們 要 吃 無 酵 餅 。In the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month at even, ye shall eat unleavened bread, until the one and twentieth day of the month at even.
  19. 19.在 你 們 各 家 中 ， 七 日 之 內 不 可 有 酵 ； 因 為 凡 吃 有 酵 之 物 的 ， 無 論 是 寄 居 的 ， 是 本 地 的 ， 必 從 以 色 列 的 會 中 剪 除 。Seven days shall there be no leaven found in your houses: for whosoever eateth that which is leavened, that soul shall be cut off from the congregation of Israel, whether he be a sojourner, or one that is born in the land.

  22. 22.拿 一 把 牛 膝 草 ， 蘸 盆 裡 的 血 ， 打 在 門 楣 上 和 左 右 的 門 框 上 。 你 們 誰 也 不 可 出 自 己 的 房 門 ， 直 到 早 晨 。And ye shall take a bunch of hyssop, and dip it in the blood that is in the basin, and strike the lintel and the two side-posts with the blood that is in the basin; and none of you shall go out of the door of his house until the morning.
  23. 23.因 為 耶 和 華 要 巡 行 擊 殺 埃 及 人 ， 他 看 見 血 在 門 楣 上 和 左 右 的 門 框 上 ， 就 必 越 過 那 門 ， 不 容 滅 命 的 進 你 們 的 房 屋 ， 擊 殺 你 們 。For Jehovah will pass through to smite the Egyptians; and when he seeth the blood upon the lintel, and on the two side-posts, Jehovah will pass over the door, and will not suffer the destroyer to come in unto your houses to smite you.
  24. 24.這 例 ， 你 們 要 守 著 ， 作 為 你 們 和 你 們 子 孫 永 遠 的 定 例 。And ye shall observe this thing for an ordinance to thee and to thy sons for ever.
  25. 25.日 後 ， 你 們 到 了 耶 和 華 按 著 所 應 許 賜 給 你 們 的 那 地 ， 就 要 守 這 禮 。And it shall come to pass, when ye are come to the land which Jehovah will give you, according as he hath promised, that ye shall keep this service.
  26. 26.你 們 的 兒 女 問 你 們 說 ： 行 這 禮 是 甚 麼 意 思 ？And it shall come to pass, when your children shall say unto you, What mean ye by this service?

And the people bowed the head and worshipped.
  28. 28.耶 和 華 怎 樣 吩 咐 摩 西 、 亞 倫 ， 以 色 列 人 就 怎 樣 行 。And the children of Israel went and did so; as Jehovah had commanded Moses and Aaron, so did they.

  31. 31.夜 間 ， 法 老 召 了 摩 西 、 亞 倫 來 ， 說 ： 起 來 ！ 連 你 們 帶 以 色 列 人 ， 從 我 民 中 出 去 ， 依 你 們 所 說 的 ， 去 事 奉 耶 和 華 罷 ！And he called for Moses and Aaron by night, and said, Rise up, get you forth from among my people, both ye and the children of Israel; and go, serve Jehovah, as ye have said.
  32. 32.也 依 你 們 所 說 的 ， 連 羊 群 牛 群 帶 著 走 罷 ！ 並 要 為 我 祝 福 。Take both your flocks and your herds, as ye have said, and be gone; and bless me also.
  33. 33.埃 及 人 催 促 百 姓 ， 打 發 他 們 快 快 出 離 那 地 ， 因 為 埃 及 人 說 ： 我 們 都 要 死 了 。And the Egyptians were urgent upon the people, to send them out of the land in haste; for they said, We are all dead men.
  34. 34.百 姓 就 拿 著 沒 有 酵 的 生 麵 ， 把 摶 麵 盆 包 在 衣 服 中 ， 扛 在 肩 頭 上 。And the people took their dough before it was leavened, their kneading-troughs being bound up in their clothes upon their shoulders.
  35. 35.以 色 列 人 照 著 摩 西 的 話 行 ， 向 埃 及 人 要 金 器 、 銀 器 ， 和 衣 裳 。And the children of Israel did according to the word of Moses; and they asked of the Egyptians jewels of silver, and jewels of gold, and raiment:
  36. 36.耶 和 華 叫 百 姓 在 埃 及 人 眼 前 蒙 恩 ， 以 致 埃 及 人 給 他 們 所 要 的 。 他 們 就 把 埃 及 人 的 財 物 奪 去 了 。and Jehovah gave the people favor in the sight of the Egyptians, so that they let them have what they asked. And they despoiled the Egyptians.
  37. 37.以 色 列 人 從 蘭 塞 起 行 ， 往 疏 割 去 ； 除 了 婦 人 孩 子 ， 步 行 的 男 人 約 有 六 十 萬 。And the children of Israel journeyed from Rameses to Succoth, about six hundred thousand on foot that were men, besides children.
  38. 38.又 有 許 多 閒 雜 人 ， 並 有 羊 群 牛 群 ， 和 他 們 一 同 上 去 。And a mixed multitude went up also with them; and flocks, and herds, even very much cattle.
  39. 39.他 們 用 埃 及 帶 出 來 的 生 麵 烤 成 無 酵 餅 。 這 生 麵 原 沒 有 發 起 ； 因 為 他 們 被 催 逼 離 開 埃 及 ， 不 能 耽 延 ， 也 沒 有 為 自 己 預 備 甚 麼 食 物 。And they baked unleavened cakes of the dough which they brought forth out of Egypt; for it was not leavened, because they were thrust out of Egypt, and could not tarry, neither had they prepared for themselves any victuals.
  40. 40.以 色 列 人 住 在 埃 及 共 有 四 百 三 十 年 。Now the time that the children of Israel dwelt in Egypt was four hundred and thirty years.
  41. 41.正 滿 了 四 百 三 十 年 的 那 一 天 ， 耶 和 華 的 軍 隊 都 從 埃 及 地 出 來 了 。And it came to pass at the end of four hundred and thirty years, even the selfsame day it came to pass, that all the hosts of Jehovah went out from the land of Egypt.
  42. 42.這 夜 是 耶 和 華 的 夜 ； 因 耶 和 華 領 他 們 出 了 埃 及 地 ， 所 以 當 向 耶 和 華 謹 守 ， 是 以 色 列 眾 人 世 世 代 代 該 謹 守 的 。It is a night to be much observed unto Jehovah for bringing them out from the land of Egypt: this is that night of Jehovah, to be much observed of all the children of Israel throughout their generations.
