创世记29章——雅各遇见拉结并为娶妻服事
雅各来到东方，在井边遇见拉结，并同意为拉结服事拉班七年；拉班在新婚之夜以利亚顶替拉结，雅各又为拉结服事了七年。

- 1.雅 各 起 行 ， 到 了 東 方 人 之 地 ，Then Jacob went on his journey, and came to the land of the children of the east.
- 2.看 見 田 間 有 一 口 井 ， 有 三 群 羊 臥 在 井 旁 ； 因 為 人 飲 羊 群 都 是 用 那 井 裡 的 水 。 井 口 上 的 石 頭 是 大 的 。And he looked, and, behold, a well in the field, and, lo, three flocks of sheep lying there by it; for out of that well they watered the flocks: and the stone upon the well's mouth was great.

- 7.雅 各 說 ： 日 頭 還 高 ， 不 是 羊 群 聚 集 的 時 候 ， 你 們 不 如 飲 羊 ， 再 去 放 一 放 。And he said, Lo, it is yet high day, neither is it time that the cattle should be gathered together: water ye the sheep, and go and feed them.

- 10.雅 各 看 見 母 舅 拉 班 的 女 兒 拉 結 和 母 舅 拉 班 的 羊 群 ， 就 上 前 把 石 頭 轉 離 井 口 ， 飲 他 母 舅 拉 班 的 羊 群 。And it came to pass, when Jacob saw Rachel the daughter of Laban his mother's brother, and the sheep of Laban his mother's brother, that Jacob went near, and rolled the stone from the well's mouth, and watered the flock of Laban his mother's brother.

And he told Laban all these things.

- 16.拉 班 有 兩 個 女 兒 ， 大 的 名 叫 利 亞 ， 小 的 名 叫 拉 結 。And Laban had two daughters: the name of the elder was Leah, and the name of the younger was Rachel.
- 17.利 亞 的 眼 睛 沒 有 神 氣 ， 拉 結 卻 生 得 美 貌 俊 秀 。And Leah's eyes were tender; but Rachel was beautiful and well-favored.
- 18.雅 各 愛 拉 結 ， 就 說 ： 我 願 為 你 小 女 兒 拉 結 服 事 你 七 年 。And Jacob loved Rachel; and he said, I will serve thee seven years for Rachel thy younger daughter.
- 19.拉 班 說 ： 我 把 他 給 你 ， 勝 似 給 別 人 ， 你 與 我 同 住 罷 ！And Laban said, It is better that I give her to thee, than that I should give her to another man: abide with me.
- 20.雅 各 就 為 拉 結 服 事 了 七 年 ； 他 因 為 深 愛 拉 結 ， 就 看 這 七 年 如 同 幾 天 。And Jacob served seven years for Rachel; and they seemed unto him but a few days, for the love he had to her.
- 21.雅 各 對 拉 班 說 ： 日 期 已 經 滿 了 ， 求 你 把 我 的 妻 子 給 我 ， 我 好 與 他 同 房 。And Jacob said unto Laban, Give me my wife, for my days are fulfilled, that I may go in unto her.
- 22.拉 班 就 擺 設 筵 席 ， 請 齊 了 那 地 方 的 眾 人 。And Laban gathered together all the men of the place, and made a feast.
- 23.到 晚 上 ， 拉 班 將 女 兒 利 亞 送 來 給 雅 各 ， 雅 各 就 與 他 同 房 。And it came to pass in the evening, that he took Leah his daughter, and brought her to him; and he went in unto her.
- 24.拉 班 又 將 婢 女 悉 帕 給 女 兒 利 亞 作 使 女 。And Laban gave Zilpah his handmaid unto his daughter Leah for a handmaid.
- 25.到 了 早 晨 ， 雅 各 一 看 是 利 亞 ， 就 對 拉 班 說 ： 你 向 我 做 的 是 甚 麼 事 呢 ？ 我 服 事 你 ， 不 是 為 拉 結 麼 ？ 你 為 甚 麼 欺 哄 我 呢 ？And it came to pass in the morning that, behold, it was Leah: and he said to Laban, What is this thou hast done unto me? did not I serve with thee for Rachel? wherefore then hast thou beguiled me?
- 26.拉 班 說 ： 大 女 兒 還 沒 有 給 人 ， 先 把 小 女 兒 給 人 ， 在 我 們 這 地 方 沒 有 這 規 矩 。And Laban said, It is not so done in our place, to give the younger before the first-born.
- 27.你 為 這 個 滿 了 七 日 ， 我 就 把 那 個 也 給 你 ， 你 再 為 他 服 事 我 七 年 。Fulfil the week of this one, and we will give thee the other also for the service which thou shalt serve with me yet seven other years.
- 28.雅 各 就 如 此 行 。 滿 了 利 亞 的 七 日 ， 拉 班 便 將 女 兒 拉 結 給 雅 各 為 妻 。And Jacob did so, and fulfilled her week: and he gave him Rachel his daughter to wife.
