创世记39章：约瑟在波提乏之家与监狱

- 10.後 來 他 天 天 和 約 瑟 說 ， 約 瑟 卻 不 聽 從 他 ， 不 與 他 同 寢 ， 也 不 和 他 在 一 處 。And it came to pass, as she spake to Joseph day by day, that he hearkened not unto her, to lie by her, or to be with her.
- 11.有 一 天 ， 約 瑟 進 屋 裡 去 辦 事 ， 家 中 人 沒 有 一 個 在 那 屋 裡 ，And it came to pass about this time, that he went into the house to do his work; and there was none of the men of the house there within.

- 13.婦 人 看 見 約 瑟 把 衣 裳 丟 在 他 手 裡 跑 出 去 了 ，And it came to pass, when she saw that he had left his garment in her hand, and was fled forth,
- 14.就 叫 了 家 裡 的 人 來 ， 對 他 們 說 ： 你 們 看 ！ 他 帶 了 一 個 希 伯 來 人 進 入 我 們 家 裡 ， 要 戲 弄 我 們 。 他 到 我 這 裡 來 ， 要 與 我 同 寢 ， 我 就 大 聲 喊 叫 。that she called unto the men of her house, and spake unto them, saying, See, he hath brought in a Hebrew unto us to mock us: he came in unto me to lie with me, and I cried with a loud voice:
- 15.他 聽 見 我 放 聲 喊 起 來 ， 就 把 衣 裳 丟 在 我 這 裡 ， 跑 到 外 邊 去 了 。and it came to pass, when he heard that I lifted up my voice and cried, that he left his garment by me, and fled, and got him out.
- 16.婦 人 把 約 瑟 的 衣 裳 放 在 自 己 那 裡 ， 等 著 他 主 人 回 家 ，And she laid up his garment by her, until his master came home.
- 17.就 對 他 如 此 如 此 說 ： 你 所 帶 到 我 們 這 裡 的 那 希 伯 來 僕 人 進 來 要 戲 弄 我 ，And she spake unto him according to these words, saying, The Hebrew servant, whom thou hast brought unto us, came in unto me to mock me:
- 18.我 放 聲 喊 起 來 ， 他 就 把 衣 裳 丟 在 我 這 裡 ， 跑 出 去 了 。and it came to pass, as I lifted up my voice and cried, that he left his garment by me, and fled out.

- 22.司 獄 就 把 監 裡 所 有 的 囚 犯 都 交 在 約 瑟 手 下 ； 他 們 在 那 裡 所 辦 的 事 都 是 經 他 的 手 。And the keeper of the prison committed to Joseph's hand all the prisoners that were in the prison; and whatsoever they did there, he was the doer of it.
