创世记 37 —— 约瑟的异梦与兄弟的出卖

- 1.雅 各 住 在 迦 南 地 ， 就 是 他 父 親 寄 居 的 地 。And Jacob dwelt in the land of his father's sojournings, in the land of Canaan.

Joseph, being seventeen years old, was feeding the flock with his brethren; and he was a lad with the sons of Bilhah, and with the sons of Zilpah, his father's wives: and Joseph brought the evil report of them unto their father.

Shall I and thy mother and thy brethren indeed come to bow down ourselves to thee to the earth?

- 17.那 人 說 ： 他 們 已 經 走 了 ， 我 聽 見 他 們 說 要 往 多 坍 去 。 約 瑟 就 去 追 趕 他 哥 哥 們 ， 遇 見 他 們 在 多 坍 。And the man said, They are departed hence; for I heard them say, Let us go to Dothan. And Joseph went after his brethren, and found them in Dothan.
- 18.他 們 遠 遠 地 看 見 他 ， 趁 他 還 沒 有 走 到 跟 前 ， 大 家 就 同 謀 要 害 死 他 ，And they saw him afar off, and before he came near unto them, they conspired against him to slay him.
- 19.彼 此 說 ： 你 看 ！ 那 做 夢 的 來 了 。And they said one to another, Behold, this dreamer cometh.
- 20.來 罷 ！ 我 們 將 他 殺 了 ， 丟 在 一 個 坑 裡 ， 就 說 有 惡 獸 把 他 吃 了 。 我 們 且 看 他 的 夢 將 來 怎 麼 樣 。Come now therefore, and let us slay him, and cast him into one of the pits, and we will say, An evil beast hath devoured him: and we shall see what will become of his dreams.
- 21.流 便 聽 見 了 ， 要 救 他 脫 離 他 們 的 手 ， 說 ： 我 們 不 可 害 他 的 性 命 ；And Reuben heard it, and delivered him out of their hand, and said, Let us not take his life.
- 22.又 說 ： 不 可 流 他 的 血 ， 可 以 把 他 丟 在 這 野 地 的 坑 裡 ， 不 可 下 手 害 他 。 流 便 的 意 思 是 要 救 他 脫 離 他 們 的 手 ， 把 他 歸 還 他 的 父 親 。And Reuben said unto them, Shed no blood; cast him into this pit that is in the wilderness, but lay no hand upon him: that he might deliver him out of their hand, to restore him to his father.

- 26.猶 大 對 眾 弟 兄 說 ： 我 們 殺 我 們 的 兄 弟 ， 藏 了 他 的 血 有 甚 麼 益 處 呢 ？And Judah said unto his brethren, What profit is it if we slay our brother and conceal his blood?
